Background: Last week we talked about stuff from the old days and someone mentioned Drachenfels, made by a back then rather unknown guy called Edge. It seems that the island is not even available on the web anymore but I found it in my crates and so we decided to quickly port it to CWR² - just because we can and have nothing else to do (allegedly). I don't know if this is the spot for this or not, so move it if needed, I don't mean to repost if this has already been covered. I recently just downloaded CWR2 and was playing with it and found that there were a few sound irregularities. Most notably for the weapons already incorporated by BIS. When using weapons such as the M2 HMG, M60, PKM, and M249 I found the sounds new and amazing. But when the AI used them they used the same base sounds used by BIS. I usually play with multiple addons, that sometimes may conflict with each other, but I went back and tested it with the base Arma 2 w/ CBA, and CWR2. Same result. The German site was projecting only 3hr DL time (instead of 8-9 with armaholic) but got stuck at 27%. The links to the download at the French and Armed Assault sites seem to be broken. AKM 0 Posted March 20, 2013 ANTHROPOID: Those links still work. It's possible you had a connection hiccup that broke the download, which has happened to me before. If there is a torrent option for the latest beta I would recommend you take that as it is the most break-resistant means of downloading, though some hosts will let you pause/resume downloads on browsers that support that such as Mozilla Firefox. I was in trouble downloading VTE 2,4 GB. after 480 MB the download stopped. After several failed tries and retries I disabled my AV program and was able to download the MOD without problem. Also has some nifty cutscenes now. Also all missions have now taskhints shown, no matter with what difficulty setting they are played with. As always: if you find problems report them here, by PM or at our Bugtracker (preferred). We also appreciate if you share your feedback about the missions with us: Were they too easy, or way too hard? Let us know, only this way we are able to make them enjoyable for everyone. I seem to recall having a questionable experience with a 'free' torrent application in the past so I hadn't used one for a while; but another guy recommended utorrent and it seems to have functioned fine. I get the following error once I'm loaded into the Main Menu. Probably a simple matter to fix: Cannot open object cwr2\general\cwr2.signs\cwr2_sig_barmenu2.p3d Might even be a non-issue with respect to impacting game play?
