i tried it the other nite Rocket - great idea and when those first zombies chased me it scared the crap out of me. :)

Played for a couple or hours, got to say its great fun, love the scavenging picking up cool items in all these abandoned houses and other places, even saw some players kill each other for their items which i though was a tad harsh! One thing i noticed was the only time i died, when i re-spawned it was in the middle of nowhere, like off the map.

Automatic Respawn currently has some issues. If you go to the lobby and come back in when you die, then it will work okay :)

ArmA2 needs to be connected to a standalone application and database in order to run a DayZ server.

It's a total conversion for ArmA. A "lite" version will be released later that will allow the elements to be used separately. When you play it once, you'll realise why it needs a specialist server setup, and why ACE is not necessary nor could it be integrated very easily.

It works very well with Project Reality, where the mod is restricted to minimal servers.

I'm assuming it's because Rocket works for BIS and he's paid by BIS. So buying products from his employer technically pays his salary? I dunno, I'm just spitballing here :)

I only find Zombies under civilian Chernarus and a BAF soldier whose name is Rocket under OPFOR in editor, but can't figure out how to make zombies chasing me and attacking me. Is this mod not available for single editing?

That's why I'm asking. The mod is using at least one other 3rd party mod which does not allow this by its license :)

You don't need PMC or Carrier Command. I apologize for the confusion - us kiwi's sense of humor runs deep!

Nice mod but I dont think zombies should run so fast. I dont think they should run at all to be realistic.
