froggyluv 2136 Posted September 7, 2011 I've read so many books recently that I can't remember which one it was that I read this in, but it basically said that: Likeliness of a leak (percentage) = people involved² / 100 Which sounds about right. Having anything more than a dozen people working on a hoax of this magnitude creates an enormous risk of someone (inadvertently) shooting his mouth off to a wife, friend or co-worker. The average (non-Hollywood budget) movie set has dozens of people present at any time that are needed to create artwork, set it up, do lightning, special effects, costumes, make-up, operating cameras and microphones, directing, script-rewriting, aides etc. It's just not feasible to do all of this with just a handful of people and convince the vast majority of the public of the authenticity. . Fools! Thats because all of those aunts, hair stylists and lighting people are still being chased through the Nevada desert by Gov't Black Helo's! Notice that rather tan astronnaut in the middle there -yep, thats O.J -the whole thing reeks!
SD_BOB 10 Posted September 7, 2011 You guys should go read a copy of Area 51 by Annie Jacobsen... Obvisouly we'll never know for sure about all this stuff but i must admit reading that book, well.......... William of Ockham. Why would the US spend so much money so many resources so much time on a hoax. Not to mention as linked to with the Buzz Aldrin video, it disrepects the commitment and professionalism never mind bravery of those early astronauts and even more so those who lost their lives in pursuit of something they believed in. mrcash2009 0 Posted September 7, 2011 (edited) I sit on a firm fence on this one, anything more and Wiggam will be "on the case" :) Isn't it easier to believe in conspiracy theories or occultism instead of learning something? Depends on the source of what you learn or taught to learn as to whether your aware its occultism or not. Although I can hear Wiggam's faint echoing footsteps past the door of this room we are in ....... :couch: Edited September 7, 2011 by mrcash2009
PELHAM 10 Posted September 7, 2011 You guys should go read a copy of Area 51 by Annie Jacobsen... "Jacobson suggests in the book (as well as in recent TV interviews) that the (Roswell) UFO was, in reality, a Nazi-inspired Soviet spy plane manned by midget teen-agers. Josef Stalin purportedly had Josef Mengele provide surgically-tweaked mini-pilots who were supposed to disembark from the aircraft, pretend to be space aliens, and scare Americans to death." Hmm sounds like a good read... I'm sure the lady makes lots of money from it. How they do all this with a straight face amazes me. I would have to soak my head in a bucket of botox to tell tales like that.
SD_BOB 10 Posted September 7, 2011 (edited) Yeah well, you have to almost ignore that stuff, as i said we'll never know. But that bit of bollox about the Stalin mass panic plan, that is only a very small part of the book and tbh just something to have a chuckle at towards the end. The majority focuses on the CIA/USAF operations run out of Area 51 concerning so called "black projects". The development of the U2 / A12 Oxcart / UAV's. Also the goings on with Atomic testing post war all very interesting. Lets not derail this into some conspiracy thread, i only mentioned that book as there is a section regarding the moon landing hoax and a few words from Buzz Aldrin. Tonci87 163 Posted September 8, 2011 (edited) Regarding Area 51: I watched a documentary where they said that the UFOs were part of an secret project that had to do with nazi technology. The nazis tried to invent something like a flying saucer shaped like a big bell. Such a project did really exist, but it is unknown if the nazis suceefed or what happened to the project after the war. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_UFOs Edited September 8, 2011 by Tonci87

Does it require name calls and accusations ... realy? Does it? ZOMGLOLZ!!!!!! He doesnt see things like me, URRRGH ... FREAK! LOLZ ..... !!!!!! Lack of fresh air and p**sy can do that to you. Didnt take long to chime away eh jblack, was all a matter of time :)2-for-1 special on nut packets over at 7/11 :cool:Notice I did not mention any reasons and all came back with stock "nut" replies, interesting (although I assume the others didn't read who it was originally towards).Heres my take on it, I sit on the fence, interesting images and information ... thanks for the links & info & heads up << only a ladyless nutjob would be this way I guess. mrcash2009 0 Posted September 9, 2011 (edited) Boring, off topic and childish, although have fun while it lasts. BTW such odd and over the top postings in respects of people with other views that dont even fit the point your trying to hit home, couldn't ask for anything less really :) Any more predictable cliche's you want to get off your chest that has next to nothing to do with a NASA image? maddogx 13 Posted September 9, 2011 I personally don't believe that the moon landings were faked, but these kneejerk herp derp reactions to anyone who calls it into question are simply childish. PELHAM 10 Posted September 9, 2011 I personally don't believe that the moon landings were faked, but these kneejerk herp derp reactions to anyone who calls it into question are simply childish. There's a huge difference between healthy skepticism and being a conspiracy nut. The problem is we have been listening to skepticism for many years and no one has ever produced anything valid. I was taken in by the JFK Oliver Stone film and went to see it, bought the video and a few books including the infamous Robert J. Groden's The Killing of a President. Later I discovered that the key 'evidence' in all cases was carefully manipulated, photos were altered and anything that pointed to the contrary was ignored. I guess they got my money which was what they wanted.
mrcash2009 0 Posted September 9, 2011 (edited) There's a huge difference between healthy skepticism and being a conspiracy nut. Thanks, that's a much compact way to put it, wish I had done so earlier to be honest :) As regards Healthy Scepticism, I welcome that far more then extremely unhealthy cynicism and name calling to anything other than what flows with the norm without question, but, each to their own I suppose. All fun and games :) The problem is we have been listening to scepticism for many years and no one has ever produced anything valid.Sticking to this subject and not the entire debate of the whole moon "thing" ... I would say, and this was my fence sitting comment, that the photo is the evidence in this case, and as I look at that photo it doesn't tell me anything valid, I simply look at what im an being shown not told, that was my point mainly (with any photo evidence). So it works both ways no matter the source or how renowned or big the source might be, I just look at a photo (lets face it its all a bout that photo) and ask "what does this prove or show me as an image?".For example if that image was leaked on the net from every other source than NASA, say youtube and some other usual suspect sites and everyone looked at it with no claim put against it, I wonder what the views might have been, I find it interesting. I have never been to the moon, I never will, a very small number apparently have in human history, and as such I have a right to question something of which is funnelled through a source telling me what it was via a tiny number of humans compared to the entire worlds population, nothing wrong with that at all. One thing I do not do, is attack people who dont have the same view, name call them and so on, im up for both sides of story and multiple angles, that's just me. I also dont agree with the "nuts" you tag as most of them are blind sighted too much the other way, like that guy getting punched in the face on the previous page in that video confrontation, pointless excersize really. But what you will see in every thread on the interwebz is someone not agreeing completely and then a swarm of tin foil comments/images/sarcasm and so on, interesting.
