Oh and we finally have a name for the mystery rifle ( MX, 6.5 mm)
Steakslim 1 Posted June 5, 2012 Well that explains the odd magazine size on the gun.

Dingo8 1 Posted June 5, 2012 any chance for an alternate upload? :)Blocked here :o There you go: http://i48.tinypic.com/2v3hieo.jpg ---------- Post added at 08:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:27 PM ---------- Those cross hairs are interesting... I'll speculate that after getting rid of the negative mouse acceleration, they've decided to reduce the weapon's accuracy during and shortly after moving/looking around just like in the very first Ghost Recon (IMO that worked quite well). Light CQB weapons recover their accuracy much faster than for example a heavy machine gun or sniper rifle. Guess we'll find out in a few hours.
james2464 177 Posted June 5, 2012 A bit off topic but Dayz has been really well received in the "mainstream" here is an example: http://www.abc.net.au/tv/goodgame/stories/s3518736.htm I think once Dayz moves to A3 it will be very interesting.
maturin 12 Posted June 5, 2012 I see the old crosshairs are replaced.Pitty, hope they'll keep the old ones. No! The old crosshair were shameful, with the tick in the middle making them more effective than iron sights at medium ranges.

Minoza 11 Posted June 5, 2012 The thing with the Arma crosshair is that it used to be unique. I welcome the change to something less accurate but not this one, it looks like every other shooter crosshair.

Black Cat 10 Posted June 5, 2012 oki danny you're message make me question you again : WHO don't play with ace ? :p ahah no seriously i think if they change the crosshair to something more ... pure ... that's can be better but if the guy don't like it i think someone can make a little mod to replace with the old one I don't play with ACE. Why? Because I don't need it to have fun in ArmA. and: BI! What say you in these tidings?
m1n1d0u 29 Posted June 5, 2012 Black Cat i know that's was a joke ... come on guys don't be so serious for a simple crosshair :p
-Coulum- 35 Posted June 5, 2012 Don't play with crosshairs but these are much better than a2. No more super precision without using sights.
danny96 80 Posted June 5, 2012 OK so stop talking about crosshair It can be always changed by mods. :)
paecmaker 23 Posted June 5, 2012 lol, I was searching through youtube and saw this Arma 3 E3 clip. I started it and everything looked fine and I was like yay :D. then I saw the date 2011...........:(
frostwyrm333 1 Posted June 6, 2012 the livestream quality sucks, we'll have to wait for something better, very low res an blurry:mad:. FPS seemed smooth, both zooming and turning around, I've never seen such fluidity with any arma. The E3 showcase still looks WIP, thought it would be slightly more finished, and also ragdolls are hilarious:D.
-Coulum- 35 Posted June 6, 2012 Is it just me or is the zooming incredibly quick? Or is that what zooming is supposed to look like when you are running at a decent FPS?
maturin 12 Posted June 6, 2012 Zooming speed is heavily FPS dependent.
NeuroFunker 11 Posted June 6, 2012 i might be wrong, but arma 3 felt so smooth, compared to arma 2. Damn if i can run it smooth on high setting with my rig, i would be super-mega happy!
