Thanks for fixing that 81785 bug. Also FPS seems so far good, but didnt yet play enought to see possible leak.

I noticed the other animation bug from 80955 still happens. It seems (maybe) to be affected by spawned actors so here is full repro:

Normally those animations (from ArmA2 campaign) would show timed event where the EAST guy is shot to knee when he suddently tries to shoot the WEST unit (with a revolver), who is arresting him. Instead for me, the animation for WEST unit is skipping first big part of the animation about once in three tryes. Also the animation for EAST unit bugs same way, but somehow little less often. (In my orginal cutscene the EAST soldier is spawned 13 seconds earlier that the WEST soldier if thats affecting.)

Was there any work on AI since 79600?

It seems like they are using corners of buildings better. Or maybe I'm just seeing things :>

EDIT:

In the template I've referenced yesterday on Armaholic (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14475) when trying to shoot some of the soldiers playing animations - they can take a whole clip and will die only when animation ends, but not in the middle of it.

I can´t download the beta patch.

The web ask me for a password for ftp of Bistudio and i put that i´ve with this page, but doesn´t work.

this happens to me when i have peerblock on...so if you have it, disable and you should be able to download!

i´ve downloaded from Bistudio always without problems, and i didn´t block anything...

I don´t know what´s the issue...

probably busy. try again sometime later. I also used to get that once. I tried again the next day and all is fine. Nothing was changed on my part

I will describe in more detail what is the nature of the deeper changes which are happening in these "highly experimental" betas later, hopefully today or tomorrow.

ok, haveing a LAN for 4 days from now.

I ave not been able to test this beta on the server.

Does anyone else had some serverproblems with this one?

Running 79600 right now.

I would love to test it with dedicated server and 17 clients. But not if it ruins all weekend.

Me too :) Really curious about it.

One thing I noticed was that in earlier patches and the first new beta, when you where leaning left or right while sitting in multiplayer and then stand up, everything was fine on your screen but everyone else would see your model totally distorted. But when I wanted to report that and tried it again in the latest patch, the problem was gone.

I ran the new beta on both server and clients for 4h the other night. No crashes & no out-of-memory errors anymore, perfect!

The missions we play are not going easy on server and clients and still all is fine. I have max'ed out the allowed number of groups and units on the map more than once :)

Beta 81921 came out about 45mins ago. Still nothing new in the changelog, presumably more regression fixes for the animations.

Still want to know more about the experimental engine changes. :D
