ArmA 2 site hacked

That killed me a bit inside, as well as my 6970 :( fucking proprietary API

Me too, I still haven't bought any game that uses any kind of proprietary middleware, as I'm extremely opposed to that kind of selling techniques.

I don't like the idea. Most of us play the game because it's accurate and realistic, now it's just an extended game with futuristic stuff. Is there a classic version of it?

Dudes this is too thrilling for words but FU********Ck Yeah!!!

I've been waiting for this type of revamp engine announcement since I was a wee lad.

I'm a little worried for ATI users tho...

Looks very promising already, since they still have half a year to work on it, it should be an amazing game :)

Gotta love the realism factor. No more of this "but my 386 can't run it good!!1!"

If you don't at least have a Core i5, then you ain't going to play. Looks like I'll need to upgrade soon.

Damn PhysX. I wanted physics but what about AMD GPU's? I think even a discrete NVidia card won't do physx for you if you have AMD GPU's.

This has "The Way its Meant to be Played" all over it.

M14 (everywhere)

TAR-21 (guy dead on the ground)

BIS. Best. Developer. In. History.

edit: Bet those who didn't think it was A3 feel stupid right about now xD

Personally i'm chuffed to see BIS aren't limiting themselves to any hardware requirements, they're going all out to make a real blockbuster. Bring it on! New PC it is!

Yeah, I worded that badly. What I mean is, they've made a tough decision that will at least allow for improved physics in Arma 3. If for me that means a new PC, so be it.

Still, it has to be MP compatible. And Ati is listed under hardware requirements. All is not lost.
