... and that's why BIS, the community and the products/mods itself are so fascinating and damn special - noticeable even for casual gamers like me - everyone here works at it, everyone with his/hers personal skills, know-how and thoughts, professional or newbie ...

... and every single changelog entry represents another stone in the mosaic ...

thx :)

Thank you for the quickness after your CIT Ticket.

PS is there a patch 1.55 or more shortly, I do not like betas.

Is space in vehicles going to be increased at all? Like a Jackal seems only able to carry two backpacks at the moment.

Either way, thanks so much for this command, great news!

Oh damnit, lol. I had noticed the "vehicle" part, and the fact that it was set up just like addWeaponCargo, but I thought that was perhaps due to something different in the configuration of the backpacks. :p

Ah well, it's a step in the right direction nonetheless.

Lots of these fixes are for problems that have been present since the release of Arma 2. Does BI put those solutions in a corner somewhere so they can be applied to the original game in a patch later on? OFP was supported even after its expansions came out, right?

I think the way BIS has always done it is they get as much done as they can before they release the game, then add in all the stuff that they now have time to perfect in patches. Frankly, I think it's excellent because new, gameplay changing additions are introduced into the game later on, further expanding it's life span, on top of many long-time-coming bug fixes.

Thanks Dwarden and BIS, long waited fix for Chopper not crashed upon lift off.

Are there plans to update Arma2 contents ? eg. thermal signature or CQB optics or view distance for vehicles etc.

(guys don't flame me...:))

Hmm helo transport unloads seem really messed up now. Helo touches down, leader is forced out, but then the helo flies straight into the air instead of waiting for the team to disembark! Will keep testing.

could you provide repro mission?

but it's strange because here

http://dev-heaven.net/issues/5637

you can see the heli waits to unload whole team then fly away

"bag = unitBackpack player" to get unit's backpack and then use addWeaponCargo/addMagazineCargo as if you were trying to add some stuff to ammoBox.

Nice fixes. But PLEASEEEE dwarden PLEASE.... Z-Fighting, popping textures, artifacts on buildings, rocks etc... has been plaguing RV3 engine since the beggining. It got better since ARMA II 1.07 but some are still there when using a scope and whatnot from distance... Please fix this for both ARMA 2 and OA... PLEASE...

@AnimalMother92's video:

I feel like Arma has always been this way, I think I've always had to command my men to disembark before the helicopter lands, or it would just drop me off alone. When I'm not the squad leaer, the AI commander orders "all disembark" when the helicopter is approaching its "TRANSPORT UNLOAD" waypoint.
