Right, so reading that short description from their website above may very well have some of you rolling your eyes. Really, another one of those? Yet another survival game? I'd think that too reading just that but no, not quite. The reason for conjuring this post is that this project is developed by pretty much one guy and he recently managed to port the whole thing, in it's entirety, from Unity to Godot game engine due to recent fiasco Unity leadership prompted. As some of you may know, Godot is a free and open source game engine and the fact that this guy managed to port his entire project to it sets a very positive precedent worthy of respect in my book. You can do your own research on Road to Vostok and it's developer, his beginnings and inspirations, how he documented his work, Unity jeopardizing thousands of developers on account of their whims or Godot engine project. I leave you with some links and a few opinion pieces from some of more prominent YouTubers in this field. Take care, have a content and peaceful 2024. S I R E N S is a single player survival mission influenced by Silent Hill, and powered by the Ravage mod. This short mission serves as a prelude to future episodes. Altis has been laid to waste....a strange malevolant force has taken over it's towns and villages. The distant wail of the Siren brings out the dead, shrouding everything in a creeping fog.... Only evil remains. Your main objective is to locate and destroy the source of the Siren. Your secondary objective is to live long enough to perform the main objective! This scenario is probably not without it's flaws, poor mission design and maladroit implementation, but like everything I create for Arma it's made with big love. But if you like sneaking around a village trying to avoid some badass Boss Zeds then this could be for you. Speaking of Boss Zeds, meet the guys... Credits: Haleks for the cool wandering Boss Zed code and generally being awesome. Kodabar and Tourist for kindly play testing. Download: Steam

Tactical Satellite Feed By Leopard20 Warning! This mod is outdated and has lots of issues! Please wait for the update. Trailer: Screenshots: Brief Description: Tactical Satellite Feed is an all-new mod for ARMA 3 that brings a "Door Kickers" style of gameplay to your single-player missions. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Long Description: Hello everyone! If you're a single player fan like myself, you've definitely noticed how incomplete and unreliable the AI movement is. They may not follow the exact path you want, or even worse, not move at all! Just put a couple of units on top of carrier or ship in the Editor, you'll see what I mean! 🙂 This mod, Tactical Satellite Feed, is designed to work around this exact problem. But that's not all there is to it! When I saw the potential for new features, I decided to make this mod look more complete, to the point that it's now a multi-purpose mod! This mod is inspired by such games as Door Kickers, Tom Clancy's game series, and of course the mod C2 Command & Control by our very own Mad_Cheese! Without further ado, let's jump straight to the mod features! I recommend that you watch the trailer first to get an idea of how the mod works and familiarize yourself with its mechanics. Features: - Top-down view of the battlefield. - Easy to use; simply draw paths using mouse - Set up anywhere and anytime with just a few clicks - Automatic path correction; minimizing micro-management - Move units on any surface and terrain, including ships/carriers. - Complete AI movement override; get them to do whatever you want! - Various functions, including: . Watch direction . Change stance . Engage targets . Mount vehicles . Go-codes . Sync movement . Supports Enhanced Movement by Bad Benson . Path recording; player records path for AI to follow . Fog of War simulation; unknown enemies become hidden Usage Instructions (MUST READ): The manual is already included with your download. Notes: Known Issues: (Likely) FAQs: Warning!!! This is a preview release! Expect lots of bugs! Use the mod at your own risk! Download: GitHub (always up-to-date) Armaholic (updates with delay) Source code: https://github.com/leopard20/Tactical-Satellite-Feed Installation: Credits and Thanks: @mad_cheese and @bad benson for the Enhanced Movement functions! Requirements: Community Base Addons (CBA)

Hello everyone, I just started playing ARMA 3 on my new pc, fixed the fps issues and now I have another problems, regarding game sounds. To begin with, while in single player missions or showcases, I can hear random car sounds, like a car passing right besides me, or even pulling up behind me, just because for me to run away from my position. These bugs also happen with helicopters and bullets. Now in multiplayer the story is a bit different, but yet kinda similar. I can hear tanks from a mile ahead of me, and the bullet sounds are just ugh... I can stand behind an enemy tank just to hear a suppressive enemy fire and not the actual tank's sound effects. I've been trying to find anyone with a similar problem, but yet had no results. If anyone have experienced this issue please let me know, or maybe this is the part of the game bugs. Anyway, thanks in advance!
