Just a quick tip, from Eden you can place any building if you have the classname. Open the debug console and enter: create3DENEntity ["Object","Land_cwa_dum_patrovy02",screenToWorld [0.5,0.5]]; You can then manipulate it in Eden like any other object. Change the classname as required! -

I assume it's that setting and it's defaulted to it's max, 128 and this happens quite frequently with busy MP environments. @Dedmen any chance of hex editing this value externally to see if pushing it higher (256/512) breaks or causes nasty performance issues?

You're hitting the maximum number of played sounds at once. Since soundshaders were added it seems to occur more often as more sounds are played per firing event.

Can lock this up now mods, CBA has a nice optional PBO that does this! Source for CBA's version is here: https://github.com/CBATeam/CBA_A3/tree/master/optionals/no_stock_missions The pbo is located in the optionals folder! -

Personally I'll take gameplay over realism all day long. I've lost track of the amount of times I've watched an AR or MMG prone, stand up, move a few feet and repeat this process time and time again trying to find a spot where they can get on target. Anything that helps with that is a massive improvement. -

ARK is an ARMA 3 community focused on delivering great gameplay in weekly event on Saturdays. We don't believe in adding redundant fluff or following complex milsim procedures for the sake of abiding by realism. As well as our ARMA sessions, we often play other games like DCS, Insurgency, Squad and CS GO, and chat on our active Teamspeak and Slack channels. ARK was founded in early February 2014, and since then we've grown from 5 players to 60 active members. All of our members were picked based on their fit in the group, rather than their skillset or experience in ARMA. If you're willing to listen and help contribute to the group, we'll be happy to have you aboard (and you'll just have to put up with the puns). THE PEOPLE Although our main focus is on the ARMA series, we do more than just play ARMA. Our Teamspeak server is always filled with people playing games or just chatting in the lobby. ARK's community Slack chat is consistently active, with discussions about everything from E3 hype to current affairs, and little to no arguments beyond whether or not IRC is superior to Slack. The core tenet behind ARK's philosophy as a group is mutual respect. In no position is it ever acceptable for an ARK member, regardless of their position or seniority, to attack or disparage another member. Arguments can happen, but mean spirited or rude behaviour has no place in our community. THE GAMEPLAY Our sessions are based around the idea of reducing downtime as much as possible, and creating as many interesting and unique moments as possible. ARMA missions don't have to have 40 minutes of planning and walking to be fun. We're in the action as soon as possible, and any moments where we're not getting shot at are spent having a good time and talking, not sitting in silence and counting our magazines. All of our missions are made from scratch with our players in mind. As a result, the variety of missions played is exceptional, ranging from terrifying and fast paced vehicle convoys to more careful objectives. While we mostly play missions against AI, each Saturday event will usually feature at least a few missions where we pit players against each other for a more challenging experience. THE RULES Players must be over the age of 18. Players must be respectful and willing to engage within the community. Players must have a working and audible microphone, be able to use Teamspeak 3 and install our custom modset. Players must own a legal copy of Arma 3, this includes the Apex expansion. Players must participate on a regular basis in our primary Saturday sessions, a minimum 1 out 4 Saturdays per month. Failure to attend sessions on a regular basis will result in player-removal. Our sessions are at 7pm UK time. JOINING US Applying to join our community is simple. Just a quick update. We're still alive and kicking and always on the hunt for new members to have awesome experiences with. You're only required to do 1 session per month so if you've not got all the time in the world but still want to play with some mature friendly people in kick ass custom built missions, look no further! If you script spawn something mid-mission, it's local to your client. If it's in the mission.sqm it's local to the server.

BI don't have magazineProxys configured for vanilla mags, any weapons using that feature will make them invisible. Either live with it or use toadie mags. -
Had a really quick look around, very nice models and layout. Only thing I noticed is that houses don't have indoor soundshaders for guns.

I was just thinking this looks like a newer version of Cinder City and then scroll down to see @mondkalb in the comments! Looks fab, if buildings have buildingPos' defined that would be nice for scripts that make sure of said positions.

It just just a crap little battle royale style mission I threw together for my group. Never tested it without full modset as I was never going to play without it. So it'll be running CBA/ACE/ACRE/CUP etc, area was 4km radius.

Just a minor observation. I've used this for a loot spawning system, once you have it enabled on over 600-700 objects, there seems to be a nasty stuttering that appears in the clients, noticeable in SP or if you run the mission on a DS. I assume the player distance checks start to choke the engine a bit with those kind of numbers.
