  1. Description This addon includes IRA and UVF insurgents who fought in a conflict known as 'The Troubles'. The conflict started in 1968 and officially ended in 1998 with the Good Friday Agreement. Although many consider the conflict over, hardline elements of both sides are still active today. My primary aim was to give the units authentic clothing and weaponry and generally showcase a conflict that doesn't seem to get much attention in the gaming world. Is there some kind of limitation preventing this ingame because I think it would be a great feature! Only thing I can think of is it being a bit unrealistic from some vehicles because of backblast etc but considering that's not really simulated without mods, don't think that's an issue..

    Are you guys planning on adding support for the new ACRE vehicle racks/intercoms? Believe they're currently only on the Dev branch. I'm guessing you can add ACRE compatibility without it being a dependency for the mod?

    Game crashes after 1.68.140908.

    I get crashes on 64 bit. (although it doesn't completely lock up my PC to the point I have to press the power button). Switch back to 32 bit and get crashes where I have to do a hard restart. Incredibly annoying. 64 bit seems to have got rid of the 3FPS bug for me - just seems to introduce new issues. The game's a mess really.
  8. I use Arma3Sync to launch the game and you just change the .exe path to the 64 bit .exe. I haven't launched the game with steam for years.

  10. You should get more stable FPS, so less stuttering and stuff.

    3 FPS Bug and Random Crashes

    Well I play in a community of 80 people, and I don't think there's a single person there who has never got this bug. Even if you don't get it, how can you even play the game properly when the rest of your section/squad are constantly crashing out randomly? It's massively disruptive for any clan/community. If the 'future' is 3FPS bug for most people, with shiny new tanks and planes - I'm out.

    1. It took way too long for BI to publicly acknowledge this bug. (This affects community moral - that feeling of being ignored). 2. I still don't think it's being taken as seriously as it should be. From day 1, BI priorities have been off (how many 2035 mods are there? ;) ) and seriously... who cares about Tank and Jets improvements - when the game has become broken at the core. I don't even know why that's even being discussed whilst this issue still exists. I actually think I got LOADS for my money with this game so I would happily pay £20 for the '3FPS removal DLC'.

    3CB BAF Vehicles

    Looking splendid as always lads! I've always wondered if it's possible to attach a Javelin onto something like a WMIK. Obviously it can be fitted to a tripod and they did it with the Milan.. Obviously it hasn't been done yet - maybe because we're in that era where there isn't much of a need for AT.. or maybe it's unfeasible.
  18. Basically I'm making a forklift truck and I want to be able to drive up to a crate/pallet, scroll wheel - attach object and then be able to drive off with the crate/pallet attached. (I'm not worried about raising/lowering the forks for now). Then I need to be able to detach the crate/pallet and then drive off leaving the object where I detached it. Is this possible? Ideally this would need to be multiplayer comparable as well :)
  19. British Army MTP Uniforms - version 1.1 About I originally created this addon for my Arma 3 community but after a couple of requests I decided I'd release it publicly once finished. The addon add's MTP uniforms similar to the standard issue uniforms of the British Army. Included is 5 variants, a uniforms with sleeves rolled up, uniforms with sleeves rolled down. Brown and Tan T-shirt's with MTP trousers and Medic Uniforms. (All versions (except the T-Shirts) are equipped with the standard issue Oakley gloves. There are 10 variations of each uniform. Included units are listed below with the intention of more elements being added in the future. Note: this addon doesn't include stuff like body armour and helmets.     Northern Ireland Insurgents

    I'd quite like to see a miniature version of Northern Ireland containing the rural areas and urban areas (Belfast, Londonderry etc). Also a tiny bit of the Republic in the south with border checkpoints etc. I've never really looked at making a terrain in Arma so I've got a lot to learn! Between the units, vehicles, map etc.. it's quite a lot of work so if anyone wants to get involved then any help is much appreciated. I agree it's massively under represented conflict with a lot of potential.

    Northern Ireland Insurgents

    Hi guys, I'm planning on doing a BIG update to this pack. Basically 'Northern Ireland Insurgents' will become 'The Troubles'.. or something similar! I'm planning on expanding from IRA/UVF to include British Army, RUC, civilians, vehicles, objects.. and eventually a map. I've decided to remove the dependency for Massi weapons pack - and i'm leaning towards replacing it with CUP weapons. I'm also thinking about making CUP units a requirement. Am I right in thinking most people now use CUP as a standard mod so wouldn't have a problem with this? Obviously I don't expect people to download 5GBs to use the mod but I imagine most people already use CUP?
