  1. Hi guys. First of all, i am quite content with the update to 1.68 since it brings us a modern 64Bit architecture and some performance gain imho. But i can understand the disappointment of many fellows that have new probs on our most loved and sometimes equaly hated game. In the end there is not one game equal to this and i am thankfull to BI bringing this concept to life and developing to the level of today. I may say so since i started with ofp (the BI one!) and i am surely one of the older fans... Since then i had to fight far more battles with scripting then with other players and some say i'd spend more time with the editor and testing than playing it... But now to my problem. Motivated by ARGO i promised some friends to reactivate the good ole deathmatch with only up to 12 players. Since we are only 3 to 5 peoples we usually add playable AI, that add some fun to the mission. It is not a very sophisticated mission, no fancy addons, so vanilla like the missionarsstellung (google that ... ;) ). Worked like cherrypie on a dedicated server (1.66). Works too on 1.68 in MP-preview and on Client-server (non dedicated or whatever u call it). BUT this mission does not work on a 1.68 dedi server: everybody spawns on missionstart, and the real players will respawn after beeing killed as intended. Only these damned (playble) AIs wont ressurect - when killed they take off to the heavens of matrixed heros or wherever, but surely they do not respawn on my battlefield. Since this should annoy other admins because this behavior prevents jip, i would guess. But i could not find any messages on this. So if anyone can provide some information, i would be very glad. Tested on 32Bit client 1.68 / 32Bit dedi and 64Bit client 1.68 and dedi and mixed too i believe. Greets, oldiron
  2. In koth the radar is not working proper anymore, when i am on blue sight and want to join a dogfight in jets for example and the enemy team is using a Wipeout i cant lock on to him. I know that the Wipeout usualy is a Bluefor jet, before 1.68 there was no problem with the radar and the lock on but after that i cant get a lock on or the right radar symbol. R and T not working The Cheetah radar is not working in any way, and R and T as well are bugged. 8/10 Times nothing is working.
  3. #1.68 Update JET PHYSICS Change for the worse WHY OH WHY have the physics for Neophrons (and other fixed-wing) changed??? Is it a glitch or unforeseen physics effects from 64bit upgrade? Please say it is so..... The landing distances are ridiculously easy now but worse still, the takeoff is 450m (up from 350m) and thus--> Feres and Abdera strips are now gone as options for the Neos. (it took me hundreds of hrs to perfect Abdera): BIS if you want to disillusion/lose your most ardent and loyal subscribers, just keep changing the way the game. We love and play Arma for the challenge, complexity and realism that it offers not the typical easy and simple formats that the 'other games' offer. [COD/CS/BF et all are for plug and play 10yo] PLEASE FIX/REVERSE THESE LAST AIRCRAFT CHANGES!
  4. Hello, since the last Update that is realy fresh and gives the game more stability and realy nice jet sounds, i recogniced one problem. I was playing on a official Koth-Server EU#2, all jets in the air were shown all the time as friendly jets and i was 90% of the time unable to lock on to them in a Tigris Even if i was in a Team the map showed them as friendly jet and even after locking them on manualy with T they still were shown as friendly on the map and on the small radar on the top of the screen. Thats realy frustrating and you lose some serious amount of money. just wanted to tell you this issue, thx
  5. Hi, today the 1.68 was released and is on stabil. But my question is, what kind of + gives brings 64 Bit Version, i cant find any improvement. FPS is the same. Thx for the answers
