  1. Suggestion: Belgian army and the Belgian Special Forces Group.

    Contact Expansion Feedback

I hope BI will implement more to Contact, maybe another faction and more aliens. Perhaps making the mothership come back for revenge with new creatures after the LDF attacked it. Maybe a campaign that takes place at the Polish-German border so we can fight with/against German border units that reacts violently to the alien approach.

Suggestion: I would love to see another country being added in the future, a country that would be major if BI have plans for another campaign to Contact. As for the aliens, it would be cool to have the current (or new) aliens to be aggressive. The country that i think would fit a new alien campaign would be Belgium (called Walldersland, a mix between Flanders and Wallonia to make it fair). Why? Because Walldersland lies between two major countries that is one of the most technologically advanced, England and Germany. The aliens would land in Walldersland and work their way to England and Germany to take the technology that they need. (Why would they take technology when they managed to get to earth with their own tech?) because earth would work as a power station for the aliens, as they would continue trough our galaxy they would need some power to be able to continue. The aliens will also abduct people and animals for experiments and plants for research. NATO will join the fight with the Wallders while the country's police move as many civilians away from the aliens while closing the borders to prevent more people to be endangered. There would also be a mission where you take the fight to the aliens, you board their mothership.

i understand, i should have mentioned that the vehicles should be "based" on the tank, apc and boat, but make them in such a way that it fits the year 2035 in ArmA 3. What i should have added is that i only want an Estonian military in First Contact to support Livonia in terms of defending their country if there was a possible invasion. The infantry was the only subject that i forgot to mention, if there is a chance that ArmA 3's First Contact will include the Estonian army would it be nice to see some of these: Hazmat personnel (Some armed with weapons): Simply because they do not know if the visitors brought some kind of hazardous waste/weapons. Defense force: Soldiers trained for heavy combat, these would be the backbone of the infantry and will fight inside Livonia. Security force: A light armed security force stationed at the borders of Livonia to prevent the visitors from moving further into Europe. I hope this extra info helps.

    Contact Expansion Feedback

As a fan of ArmA 3 and all it's content i can't wait for an alien expansion, i will buy First Contact the day it releases. I read that two new factions was to be included, the Russian armed forces (or only the Spetsnaz?) and the Livonian armed forces (Polish-Lithuanian). The Livonian, as i read, is a landlocked country that does not have any ports to store battleships or any ships at all, but there is one thing you can do to make First Contact a little more interesting: Include the Estonian military. The reason i think the Estonian would make sense to include is because they are a Baltic country that would most definitely support Livonia with their no navy situation. This is just a suggestion, and i hope it will be appreciated. Livonia was actually a mix of Estonia and Lithuania, Livonia had also access to the sea during it's historic times. My idea for the Estonian military. Navy: EML Ugandi, a sandown-class minehunter equipped with 1 twin ZU-23mm AA cannon and 3 Browning 12.7mm machine guns. The air force of present day Estonia is completely defenseless, so NATO would need to help on that part. The armored section would be small, but "maybe" capable against what ever the visitors have up their sleeves. The armored vehicles would be these: Tank: Swedish Combat Vehicle 90 (CV9035EE) equipped with a 35mm Bushmaster III cannon and a 7.62 mm Ksp m/39 machine gun. APC: XA-180 (EST), a six-wheeled armoured personnel carrier equipped with a 12.7mm Browning machine gun and 10000 rounds. You are probably not allowed to copy these vehicles because of laws, but having an Estonian based faction with Livonia would be a nice addition, they would even have at least one navy boat to protect the coast. I really hope this catches your attention, have a nice day!
  6. Thank you for the answer, i do like the randomized unit when spawning one, but i just don't get an PIRA feeling, the vest shouldn't be there at all, the hats shouldn't be there and some other gears shouldn't be there. I have no idea why your units randomize, is it CUP? But if you figure a way to make them randomize so they match PIRA pictures, you might get the most accurate IRA related mod!
  7. Hello, as a person who have done my research on IRA, PIRA and other IRA related armies (equipment wise) will i have to tell you that the modern vests and gearing your PIRA units have is wrong. I have seen the comment on steam that said this: "Nice! Good to see an actually decent IRA instead of some masked AK dude." This is completely wrong! They were indeed masked AK dudes, and it is the masks that give us the IRA, PIRA etc. feeling. Since i want to help you to get some stuff right have i collected some pictures of PIRA soldiers between the years 1985-1999 to match your mods setting. I hope we can see some masked AK dudes and of course more dudes with mask. As you can see, they all use masks, you can see a UZI, mg42, FN MAG, RPG-7, M16/AR-15, Browning 50 cal and PM md. 63/65(Or just a simple AK with grip)

Hello, there have been quite a long time since bravo93 was active here, but i hope the mod isn't dead, because i have been flying trough the Arma 3 workshop in hope to find an IRA mod, but the only "IRA" that i find is Jihad looking modern soldiers. I wish you the best of luck if you are still working on this masterpiece! I'm cheering on you!

    ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

I have a unusual, but unique suggestion for a new unit for Arma 3! The Atle soldiers from the Dinsey movie (Atlantis: The Lost Empire) This is the weapons the Atle soldiers used: Lee-Enfield SMLE (No.1 MkIII) and Vickers Mk.I machine gun. This is the Atle soldiers common outfit, there are no other types of soldiers than these. This is their how their mask and helmet with mounted flashlight looked like. This is a Atle soldier firing a truck-mounted Vickers Mk.I machine gun. I'm not experienced with modding at all, but if someone find this interesting am i willing to provide all info about the Atle units available.
  11. I really want to see Clint in Arma, mainly because Resident Evil scrapped a scenario where he would have been seen, and adding Clint would give him a chance to get included since Clint looks different than the other U.B.C.S. units. Describtion of Clint: Clint was a mercenary for the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.) and took part in their infamous mission into Raccoon City. Unlike the majority of his comrades, Clint wore the standard-issue U.B.C.S. uniform under a life jacket. Clint was probably intended to make an appearance in the scrapped "Raccoon Pier" Scenario. Weapon(s): SIG P225 with flashlight and M4 carbine (Common with all U.B.C.S. personell) Or just give Clint one Rook-40 The standard M4 that the U.B.C.S. used: Pictures: U.B.C.S. logo on Clint's life jacket: I can donate a total of 13 dollars to whoever create Clint.

    ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

We have some good zombie addons, two of them which are Zombies and Demons and Ravage. But with those two mods, shouldn't there be an anti-zombie unit, something like the U.B.C.S units from RE3? It would look best if someone who think making a RE3 U.B.C.S unit mod for Arma 3 would keep the original look of the U.B.C.S units, since fancy high tech elite soldiers kinda ruin the original look and vibe. History of the U.B.C.S: The U.B.C.S. (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service) became a critical element of Umbrella's bio-weapons enterprise in the 1990s. Due to the volatile nature of the trade and the secret nature of creatures like the Hunters, only the U.B.C.S. had sufficient training to counter accidental releases. A further benefit they had over typical soldiers was access to medication to assist in resisting exposure to the t-Virus. Some photos from the RE3 intro: The U.B.C.S operative would look like this (Just without the green beret hat): The U.B.C.S squad leader would look like this: Weapons: Colt M4A1 Carbine and SIG Pro SP 2009 (squad leader) Units loadout: U.B.C.S operator: Colt M4A1 Carbine and U.B.C.S operative squad leader: Colt M4A1 and SIG Pro SP 2009. Getting those to Arma 3 would bring back the old-school zombie vibe, and maybe more people get encouraged to make more zombie mods if this gets made.
