Hello i am newbie to scripting and arma3 editing and i can't find an answer to this: I spawn a group of AI infantry and a truck (will be 2 IFVs when i get it to work) then set the waypoint so the AI infantry group board the truck. I had no success yet. The AI infantry group move then stand still near the truck and do nothing. I would be glad if anyone can tell me what i am doing wrong. Thank you, i'll use ' this setVariable ["NOAI",true,false]; ' so. The Pre-created difficulty settings file readme told me: But i have not any .sqf into my VCOM folder, just ' AISettingsV2.hpp ' is this normal? -

Indeed yes, i think sounscape mean what you refer as things like wind sound, birds, environment, nature, waves, etc. Because for me they are rather low and weapons are super loud. Anyway the mod is really great. Riding a Mora APC made my ears full of joy. Can't wait to try the tanks and hear their tracks sound.- 1214 replies

Hello, i have trouble and can't finish my mission script. I am newbie into scripting so here is my problem: During a multiplayer game, listen or dedicated server; I want to count players in a given radius around an entity (?, a trigger/marker). Unfortunately i can't get what i have wrote to work and search give me tons of way to count entities/objects/AIs around a player, this is not what i want. I did try these: They all returned 0 or "scalar". I know some of them must be really wrong but i had to try. I am searching for hours but my scripting level is too weak. If anyone would like to help some. Thank you. -

Well for ALIVE actually you can use a light vehicle for transport while waiting for the mod to mature. With Vcom AI anebled, i call AAF Striders or trucks. They drive me around without problems \o/ -

I am not sure if its working on my computer. Does the Hold order still make them take cover/go into building? I have seen way less smokes than the previous version too. I'll enable the debug marker next time to see if i run the mod indeed.:x -

Thank you MKD3. Used moveincargo and fnc_spawnvehicle. Now my infantry spawn into the freshly spawned truck. -

Well, when i place the units in the editor, it does work very well. But i want to do this for units i spawn with a script so my mission wont overload the host computer. And my spawned units with script does not board the truck :'( -
Is this something we can change? Because i agree that the old was best and easy to read.

Hello, this mod sound amazing, but i have some questions: In ASR AI, the AI will go fully automatic if you pop in their face during some CQB. They will use single shot more often at long range while units like machine gunner will use burst, single (?). The more the range get closer, the more the firing rate go up. Also, the AI, especially machine-gunner, will actually suppress your position, yourself or fire in the direction of your last know position. Plus the AI precision seem realistic because he wont fire laser guided bullet between your eyes. I can't find anything about the AI firing protocol (?) in your description of the Vcom mod. What about this? It is planned, done or you wont modify it? Anyway good luck with your mod, I hope it will get popular when it will work as intended! Sorry my bad English.
