Delta Force Operators in Diyala Province, Iraq are tasked with eliminating the local ISIS commander and helping Iraqi forces retake key towns in the area. This is a showcase for the gorgeous new Diyala, Iraq map and the outstanding Iraq/Syria Conflict mod. I hope you enjoy it. Mission Features: -Mission includes a troop spawner and a virtual arsenal at the FOB. -Zeus enabled -Headless Client enabled -I have also added VCOM AI into the mission itself so you do NOT need to run any other AI mods when playing this mission.     Gotcha, Well our group is small so we typically have friendly AI units on the battlefield. Is there a way to force them to use NVGs when at night? perhaps someone has a script out there to do this?

    Hey fellas, I've noticed in some ALiVE missions that the AI 3cb Units are not using their Night Vision goggles when patroling at night, even though they have them in their inventory. Is this known?

    You can depbo the mission in the editor then go into multiplayer options and check the box "Enable AI" as I disable them by default for MP. You could also just leave as is and recruit some AI through the AI spawner at the FOB to join you.

    @icebreakr Really looking forward to this. Isla Duala really holds a special place in my heart re: ARMA maps. I love the savannah style African setting. Excited to see what you have in store!

    AI Discussion (dev branch)

    I'm really hoping for some legitimate improvement of multi-vehicle groups and their driving skills. As of now...watching a 4 tank section travel across the map is pure hilarity...running into each other, slingshotting, crashing into walls, not changing their formation dynamically to deal with roads and obstacles, etc. This has been an issue for far too long IMO.

    He plays by himself so he sets up his missions for local save. I play with my clan so my missions are set up for dedi save. you can easily switch the saving to local by opening the mission in editor and switching it in the ALiVE Required module then save locally.

The current release contains 3 factions....a civilian faction, an army faction, and an Insurgent faction. I will continue to add/expand factions as time allows. If you're familiar with my African Factions for CUP, I plan to do a similar faction set for this one. More screenshots in the Spoiler Tag.

  15. BROTHER'S KEEPER The Sahrani Liberation Army has invaded the tiny Kingdom of Sahrani. As a long time ally, Great Britain has dispatched 3 Commando Brigade to the region to help defend the nation from SLA aggression. As with my previous missions, this is set up preferably as a long term, persistent COOP Campaign for up to 25 players. It can also be enjoyed in Single Player. It includes: -Persistence set up using ALiVE War Room -Custom FOBs with Virtual Arsenals, Recruitment Spawners, and Vehicle Spawners -Headless Client Support built in. Should automatically connect to Headless Client on dedicated server if HC is properly set up beforehand. -Full tactical command of the battifield with Intel, Logistics, Close Air Support, etc. -Full map Campaign with 100s of units on both sides. -Custom made British Army faction, combining 3CB, CUP, and Burnes British Assets into one fully functioning faction. -My Custom VCOM AI Opfor Mod and VCOM AI built directly into the mission with no need for a separate addon. -A dynamic Air Combat module with British and SLA forces fighting for control of the Sahrani skies.     UPDATE: 9/22/2017 -Added my custom VCOM AI Opfor SLA with dynamic static weapon placement -Added ALiVE Air Combat Component: Dynamic Air War between British and SLA aircraft and helos will be ongoing during campaign. SLA aircraft WILL attack you and other ground targets as well. -Performance Enhancements This is a completely overhauled campaign. If you haven't played it in a while, I HIGHLY recommend giving it another go.

    UPDATED 9/22/2017 Added VCOM AI to mission (built into mission via script so you DO NOT need to run VCOM AI separately) Added my custom VCOM AI Opfor Taliban Removed Vehicle spawner due to overhauled repair/resupply/rearm system now available for existing vehicles Tweaked and optimized mission further NEW ALiVE ADDITIONS: Installations and roadblocks can now be disabled without blowing them up. Disable option appears in center of installation or at "demo block" in center of roadblock. Full Heals can only be completed at medical tents, ambulances or CSAR Merlin in game. If it's been a while since you've played British Steel, I definitely recommend giving it another go. Have some nice new surprises awaiting you.

    Vcom AI V2.0 - AI Overhaul

    Hey guys, For anyone who is having this issue....here is a quick fix. Use the VCOM Script version and in the VCOM folder...go into functions and delete the EditMenuInit SQF. This will eliminate the in game VCOM menu and remove the flickering problem. Rest of VCOM works fine and you can just change the settings in the folder rather than ingame. Can use this as a workaround until Genesis fixes the issue.

    I can confirm the flickering escape button issue. It's funny though because it's not on every map. Have Sangin on my dedi and it pops right up. Try Takistan and Clafghan...I get the flickering menu. its definitely VCOM because issue is gone when I remove VCOM

    MISSION UPDATE 9/18/2017: Turned auto tasking ON for players who wish to have more guidance on mission objectives (you can turn this off easily in the ALiVE Commander Options in game) Fixed errors due to ARMA and ALiVE updates. Tweaked mountain camp settings. Adjusted logistics insertion point. Mission tested in both editor and on dedi with no issues. Dropbox PBO has been updated as well. As always folks, I hope you enjoy it.

    3CB BAF Vehicles

    The best unit mod in ARMA keeps getting better. Love the ability to use your fantastic logistics hub for non 3CB vehicles. Outstanding!!!
