PuFu 4600 Posted July 1, 2010 Suma the kickback and no recentering after each shot tweaks have disappeared off the radar. They were both supposed to be in the latest beta but neither made it in.Are these features making it into next beta? That is something i am interested in myself as well

Gutm@sher 10 Posted July 1, 2010 OA for me. ARMA2 patched up to 1.07 runs fantastic but getting the old crash "application ends but still running in processes" deal with OA. If I can have OA running like A2 1.07 = happy man.
MavericK96 0 Posted July 1, 2010 OA. Since you can include ArmA2 content in OA, but not vice-versa.
^Th0mas^ 10 Posted July 1, 2010 OA. No reason really, maybe because its more new and its great. Its a stand alone game, so I kinda consider it the next game in the series.
Rexxenexx 0 Posted July 1, 2010 Installing OA right now, so OA for sure. ;)
Baron von Beer 0 Posted July 1, 2010 What's Arma 2? :p
Deadfast 43 Posted July 2, 2010 wasnt most of the enhancements in OA supposed to be put into ARMA2? Arrowhead features were never said to make it to Arma 2, bug fixes were.
SaOk 112 Posted July 2, 2010 Definitely OA. I prefer playing the original ArmA2 trought OA. There is no need for original game exe anymore.
mrcash2009 0 Posted July 2, 2010 I will have OA by the end of next week and seeing as the improvements come from the logic of sucking A2 content through and into AO exe to play to benefit this, then its pretty logical to test in this way. Plus the fact that you will shift more units as people will go this way as times rolls on :) Seems to me that once I get OA I wont be going back, there is no real point unless its online MP <<< that might be the splitting of the camps so to speak. suma 8 Posted July 2, 2010 (edited) OK. The choice was made and first OA public beta patch is out now. I am sorry for folks who do not have Arrowhead yet, but you seem to be are vast minority now in the beta testing community, and we are not willing to take the burden of producing beta patches for both versions at the same time. Significant fixes will most likely eventually make it into ArmA 2, unless it shows there is no demand for this any more. Edited July 2, 2010 by Suma
