    Just look how you responded to my "Closed" post, and look how you're responding now. Obviously you get a false sense of pride being a "Moderator." I'm "Building" content for this game as perfectly described in the post you closed. We're DONE "Discussing", now it was on to "Completing." I don't need to defend anything. All anyone has to do is look at the time I responded to Binkowski and the time you shat all over my completed post. I invite anyone to look at the times and the edit I was making of the Completed post. All I was waiting for was textures to be updated to upload the Alpha. Does this look "Not Done?" If BIS can't manage a vBulletin that's not my problem. Look into image control. It's there so Moderators don't need to mess up the forum. Anyways. What's done is done. I am bitter, nothing I can do about it. I didn't think I deserved half the crap (especially the shit about my sig) you wrote on the post you closed. Thanks to Gnat and the rest who had constructive criticism. Although I didn't play this game 24/7 (even though I had a 24/7 dedicated server ;) ) I had fun. Take care. Unsubscribing so I don't get emails on this.

    I'm done. I don't get your guys humor. Maybe links would help, but his was alot of work just to have W0lle lock the topic as I was about to upload a youTube and an Alpha. And judging by Binkowskis description under his name "W0lle's Handyman" hes the bitch. I know W0lle is gonna see this so to him I say I don't care if you unlock the topic, I was in the process of building it. Learn how to moderate properly and support the people who support the community. It's gonna be one of those things I do for myself. This topic is over sorry to you guys looking forward to it.

    Uploaded the Marines Jetpack (named XRG-1) maxfile and preliminary textures for Gnat to download. Still tweaking the textures but once Gnat sends it back so I have scale/rotation/and material slot placement down I think we'll be ready to open a "Completed" thread. When Gnats got something imported we'll post an Alpha there. ;)

    Actually I might depbo and put a Param that sets "Zombie speed" Slow|Med|Fast. Hopefully it's just the units speed (setSpeedMode/waypointSpeed) which can be set when they spawn. So users can have a "Night of the Living Dead, The Walking Dead, or 28 Days Zombies" ;) EDIT: Heres a Degen2.paa that doesn't give an error (r-click Save As... ) Degen2.paa Also if you want them to walk edit zombie_scripts/cly_z_routines.sqf line 131.     Took what u guys were talking about to heart and this is what I came up with: Better? It's about 2700polys. UV's are good for games. I still have to tweak the texture, especially where the body blends into the side jets. I don't have Z-Brush at home so its a trial and error back and forth with Photoshop. I couldn't imagine Unwrapping the Rocketeer and the Tribes packs are out of place. You're right. So I think this is a good compromise. It sorta looks like the mini UAV bomber. ;) I'll see what I can do about the Rocketeer pack so we have an OPFOR jetpack, but this for sure will be the first I'll send to Gnat for import. Hope you guys like it.

    We'll it is 100% to make everyone crack-up. ;) To see a bunch of people flying around in ArmA will be epic! I for sure wouldn't be able to make units. I just wouldn't have the time, besides I'm also totally not familiar with the ArmA engine import/export that's why I asked for someone familiar to help with making it. BUT, if someone else wants to make the Medium Tribes Ascend unit and The Rocketeer unit I'm 100% for putting everything in one pack. I still haven't contacted Gnat but I'll PM him when I have something that I think is close to being able to import. Gnat if you see this maybe start by importing a box as a placeholder and experiment!
  11. Your MOTD has a trialing comma. You need to delete it, but since you said it works w the deathmatch nomod I guess thats not a big prob. Delete it anyways: motd[]= { "Willkommen auf dem North Brigade ArmA2 OA Dedicated Server", "Viel Spass beim zocken" }; I'm trying to think of what it was because I had that prob a couple weeks ago. I'm almost positive it was a MOD that didn't load on the server side and when I tried to join it just sat there "Wait for Host". do you have any mission that only needs @cba and one other MOD? ie: Don't load too many MODS on the server. Err. Just do the MOTD comma fix and try less MODs and another Mission that requires the less MODs and we'll go from there.
  12. I wonder if the caps in your MOD line has anything to do with it? Thats one thing I'd try, all lowercase MOD names since they should be lowercase due to "tolower". Also don't delete your mission class just change the mission to a stock mission that has no Mods.

    Quick ques. What maps does ArmA2 use? Diff (tga), Spec Color?,Spec Level?,Bump(Normal and/or Greyscale). I don't think the Tribes Ascend is gonna need any Bump but the Rocketeer will (rivets). You guys bake the diff w shadows or as-is and let the engine render shadows? Maybe bake very soft shadows? Here's where I'm at w the Ascend model:

Big thanks in advance and all the best to you, Emil Hmm, I'm not sure but it seems like addon thing now. Maybe server side. Did you add the mod line in the arma2server file? Maybe try serving a mission with no mods and if that works then you know something is up with loading the mod. Also check your logfile. It should say what happened.
