Zipper5 74 Posted July 4, 2010 Oh so the Effects Module is Dynamic? Cool! What about the Color Module? Is there way to set the filter or is it Dynamic aswell? Also, anyone notice that fog looks more like a thick sandstorm in the distance? It's very cool! :D The color module also changes based on the weather and time of day. Oh, and the effects module generates actual sand storms. ;)

enad 11 Posted July 5, 2010 Yeah they're great. I'm seriously in love with the Town generator, Ambient civilians and mostly the Simple Support Module! Best thing BIS ever made!
purpheart23 10 Posted July 5, 2010 LOL,did you notice that there was smoke all around?Kool tribute to Fos Plancke even though I didn't know him I still liked the thought. Just where I happened to be on mission when I noticed it. Imagine this, "Czech special forces patrol leader takes a knee to check his map and comes face to face with an excellent example of Cannabis Sativa, the question is do you continue to patrol? Or take a "break" from the mission for a little R&R? ;)
CameronMcDonald 146 Posted July 8, 2010 Heh, not restricted to OA, but I recently noticed this while riding in one of my favourite multi-role helicopters: Better late than never, I spose. :)

jakerod 254 Posted July 8, 2010 In the opening cutscene of the campaign the news ticker eventually gets to something about the Marines purchasing the latest training software or something like that. It ended before I could read the whole thing and I only managed to see that because it was laggy for me the first time I played it. The second time I watched it I didn't get anywhere near that line. Heh, not restricted to OA, but I recently noticed this while riding in one of my favourite multi-role helicopters: (IMAGE)Better late than never, I spose. I don't really get that. Can someone explain that to me.

I guess it's the fact that the last three letters is "BIS" for Bohemia interactive studios?
CameronMcDonald 146 Posted July 9, 2010 I guess it's the fact that the last three letters is "BIS" for Bohemia interactive studios? And the first two letters are a shortened expletive. A disgruntled texture artist getting his/her own back in degrees, perhaps? :D

jakerod 254 Posted July 9, 2010 Nah, SSF means Sarcastic Smiley Face IIRC. :D Is that what SSF actually means? I got the FK and the BIS part but the SSF is what was throwing me off.
Zipper5 74 Posted July 9, 2010 I think we're kind of over analyzing this to be honest. :p
JuggernautOfWar 1 Posted July 9, 2010 I too would like to know what SSF means. Maybe it's Czech? I think we're kind of over analyzing this to be honest. I'm an officer, it's what I'm paid to do. :p
aussieterry84 10 Posted July 9, 2010 I don't know if this is considered an Easter egg, but it's pretty well-hidden. Set the date to December and use the new Effects module. Now go play in the snow. ;) tried this couldn't get it to work :/ Do i have to synch the effects module to the player or just drop it down?

Spudgunner 10 Posted July 9, 2010 In the ArmA 2 Campaign (Razor 2 mission), Shaftoe offers you the chance to carry on or go home. If you opt to go home, you hear talk about a future engagement in Takistan :bounce3:

Deadfast 43 Posted July 12, 2010 (edited) I just looked at the steering wheel of the Land Rover (Military Offroad) for the first time. Another ingenious subtle brand reference :D EDIT: The model name is pretty hilarious too. Hand Over Offender Edited July 12, 2010 by Deadfast
