docbrown 1 Posted August 1, 2013 Operation Argus III is the final mission in a 3-part campaign where a British section is patrolling the Sangin district. IEDs are a large threat in the area and Ryuki and I are assigned as Engineers / Scouts. We took the lead to clear and secure any areas suspected to contain IEDs and find a safe path for our section to make it back to our patrol base. Unfortunately, the handheld detection system we were issued with are not the most reliable, leaving us to use our eyes, and sometimes our feet, to find where the IEDs lay... RoDeX 11 Posted October 4, 2013 Last week (28/09/2013), IsrTG officialy joined "Operation Titan" as an active force, as well as completing its first mission "Chain Link", as part of the operation. IsrTG operators successfully completed all the objectives of "Chain Link": 1) Recover the missing bodies of American soldiers of the 42nd Air Assault Regiment, located in the small town of "Khebel". 2) Provide humanitarian support for local population. 3) Clean and secure the town of "Khebel" from hostile forces. Above all, IsrTG successfully eliminated any threat, and managed to capture two enemy Land Rovers. http://up390.siz.co.il/up2/iznnmvg5nc1d.jpg (931 kB) http://up390.siz.co.il/up2/eotdigne5onz.jpg (1370 kB) http://up390.siz.co.il/up3/yyfmmimndmkw.jpg (1250 kB) http://up390.siz.co.il/up3/jimzixnmydtr.jpg (956 kB) http://up390.siz.co.il/up1/v4zjzmntjnke.jpg (1021 kB) http://up390.siz.co.il/up1/kg3knmgfnzzm.jpg (1115 kB) http://up390.siz.co.il/up2/kgzyyytm0zjj.jpg (1280 kB) http://up390.siz.co.il/up3/mfddyzjm4wtg.jpg (1200 kB)

Funkman 10 Posted October 29, 2013 Hey guys, Funk here. I used to play Arma 2 and make machinima, but that was over two years ago. Here is one of my better vids: Oh, I also made this which got some praise back in the day: So, I am thinking about starting to make some machinima, especially a sequel to The Visitor. However, I think I threw my copy of Arma 2, I still have OA on Steam. I started a thread in Arma 3, no one answered. My question is, should I use Arma 2 again, or how is Arma 3 for making vids and scripting? Any better flexibility with animations etc? Any help appreciated so I can choose which way to go. Funk. DirectorsCut 10 Posted November 8, 2013 A little showcase of ArmA II 3D editor It can be used to improve mission making and bring more atmosphere to the gameplay This video is not a full tutorial on how to use the editor, it only shows how simple and fun the 3D editor can be. You can find detail tutorial at I mostly use the 3D editor to place objects (for making camps or improving some locations to look more interesting) before making the mission in a standard 2D editor. How to access the 3D editor: Start the game and From the Main screen press Alt+e and it should open the Island popup screen. Chose the island you want to edit in.
