i3luevein 10 Posted June 23, 2010 (edited) Sigma kindly allowed the Dev Team over at City Life RPG MOD to port his much loved ARMA 1 vehicle pack over to ARMA 2 which myself, ArMaTeC and Fraser have been spending many hours converting, saving, uploading and testing. The pretence of us converting this pack was to release them as soon as they are finished to the ARMA 2 community and up to our high standard and the standard Sigma would expect. Click Image To Download - Full instructions (ReadMe.txt) and sign file are included. (EDIT - Image link updated to v2.2) Full size image Any bugs you find - please let us know Cheers EDIT: More Links to Download v2.2 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=10857'> Change log: v2.2 - Corrected jail bus addon patch name - Removed the bugged ship v2.1 - Fixed old class civilian2 - Corrected config formatting - Fixed cuda fire geo v1.0 - First Release ARMA 2 - Added multi lods to every vehicle - Re-done every RVMAT so ARMA 2 doesn't generate ST errors - Proxy fix to suite ARMA 2 - Sounds tweaked to suite ARMA 2 - Each Config tweaked - every vehicle put into one addon pack Features: -"240GD" A Mercedes 240GD. This is the basic variant with the flat hood. -"cd71hm" A 1971 Plymouth Hemicuda. -"challenger" A 2008 Dodge Challenger Concept. -"civic" My family's 1989 Honda Civic Hatchback, the real version of which is sitting in my sister's garage in Ottawa. -"cooter" Cooter's Tow Truck from the Dukes of Hazzard! This is a kind of cartoonified tow truck, done up as a 1977 Ford F-250. -"cuda" A 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda. This is the street version of what AAR went to the track with. -"fury" A 'brown cow' 1977 Plymouth Fury, for when you need a generic car. -"hemicuda" A 1970 Plymouth Hemicuda. -"mackr" The old Mack R Model. Updated again. -"monaco" 1968 Dodge Monaco. -"oldtruc2" A vintage farm truck. -"oldtruc2a" A version of the farm truck with a troop bed in the back--uses BIS public release components. -"oldtruck" My old 1965 GMC Fleetside from OFP. -"oltruc3" A 1977 Ford F-250 Pickup. -"roadrunner2" A 1969 Road Runner in yellow. -"roadrunner" A 1969 Road Runner in green. -"rosco" Sherrif Rosco P. Coltrane's Squad car from the Dukes of Hazzard! The General comes here complete with all his details from the show: roll bar, pushbar, CB, Aerial, AR 'Vector' wheels, tan interior, 'Dixie' horn, and the complete custom paintjob, including the crossed flags on the decklid. Included .pbo files: cl_sigma.pbo Credits and Thanks: Gnat, without whom this improved pack would not have been possible at all! DDAM: Frandsen et al Colonel Klink Parvus Jail Bus Invert22 BETA testers CAF=DaN CAF=Blackfox34 A.Smith Gooback Legal discalimer: Everything (art-wise) in this pack is Copyright © 2007 by William Richardson, except for things that are IP of Warner Brothers, or BI. icebreakr 3156 Posted June 24, 2010 Nice release, too bad I couldn't betatest it. There are couple of issues: - when you start as Civilian>Chernarus>Sigma Wheeled>Roadrunner, Yellow the game CTDs as driver is Civilian2 (probably A1) - when you try to enter empty Roadrunner, Yellow the command says "Enter Corolla" ;) - hemi engined cars can't top speeds of 120 - Deadeyez's script might fix that Otherwise, excellent graphics and great handling! Hmm thanks for the quick feedback, we tested the issues with our own addons and these issues never came up. The 120 speed is kind of general for most arma cars, but they have ways to increase that within the City Life mod. Oh and there are no chargers (old or new) in this pack, but maybe there will be some within citylife....
armatech 8 Posted June 24, 2010 - when you start as Civilian>Chernarus>Sigma Wheeled>Roadrunner, Yellow the game CTDs as driver is Civilian2 (probably A1) Added fix in next version - when you try to enter empty Roadrunner, Yellow the command says "Enter Corolla" ;) Now clue at why this happens for you all i get is get in driver and get in back - hemi engined cars can't top speeds of 120 - Deadeyez's script might fix that Bis limmit and we dont like to hard code scripts to by-pass this but you can use Deadeyez's script in the init from the mission editor so its all good Thanks for the feedback give it a week and we will make version 2.1 with fixs

Przemek_kondor 13 Posted June 24, 2010 Didn't you notice "if" and that I used non-serious tone? I downloaded addon and its quality is very good. I was big fun of this addon and I also created race mission using this: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=68270 that is why I was excited and wrote comic post Really don't understand your reaction armatech: don't worry, quality proves you right and him wrong did I claim anything? Show me where!
icebreakr 3156 Posted June 24, 2010 Threating someone to kill is not really a way to say "thanks" for a free addon that folks spent days, weeks making 'em ;) Back on topic: hopefully we can fix couple of these cars with guns for missions on Jade Groove? ;)
