Excellent work Canis! Sorry to hear about your injury, but glad your doing better.

Will there be any standout Heroes or Heroins maybe Villains and Villainess's?

Might be cool to have someone standout from the rank & file soldiers.

Is that a female character in the last picture second from the right? Or are my eyes just playing tricks on me? :P Awesome work if it is, be good to have a few 'chicks with guns' getting about in this mod!

No female voice yet don't really know how to do that. that one is on the "figure that out list", as to dancing I'll let someone else take care of animations, it did give me the idea of some dancers and "civilian" bad guy's for a kind of low-life criminal settlement..

Np, glad to be of help. Judging from the cfg BIS also did include english female voices (which then weren't used in vanilla ArmA2), but I didn't checkup that much on it yet.

thanks Icewindo I'll take a look at it.. right now there is only one female head on two units one with a mask on so you only see the eye but more is needed for the civilians.. if needed it should be possible to add completely new voices to them..

hah brilliant IceBreakr.. now I just have to make a hockeymask for one of the units...

the old units are long gone I'm afraid.. but they were not very good compared to what I did this time anyways.

The reason why I ask is because I'm converting my old A1 mission (see sig) to Arma 2 and I would really need those "run-down", sleazy and poor resistance-fighter-looking units, you know what I mean? Resistance fighters who don't have proper uniforms / protection clothes nor good weaponry, but only self made light stuff like belts, school bags, etc...

I just loved them!!! :D

And for a second mission I am making I used your A1 units which looked simply like poor and dirty "worker-civilians" (if you compared them with e.g. Schnapsdrosel's civilians with adidas sweaters, new and high quality clothes...). Your units fitted perfect for a story about poor underdog guys with outworn and simple clothes. This is why I loved your A1 version of the mod.

Hope to see such units back in! *thumbsup*

I will make some very much like the old ones.. I was simply meaning for the freedom fighters to be an organized group. I'll add armed civilians for more individual purpases later on..

I really like the look of this, good job! It would be cool to have some armed civilians with alot of backpacks etc. on them aswell, sort of like groups of wanderers trying to survive without aligning themselves with a specific faction.

wish I could give you an eta guy's but I really can't tell at the moment there is still very much to be done I'm working as fast as I can but I won't make the same mistake I did at the first PA mod, working too fast..

Ahh no problem man! I'm just so anxious to see these units and objects on Jade Groove Island. They will fit perfectly!!

well so am I... I'm starting the new civilian units tomorrow so the next couple of screenshots should give a complete show of what can be expected I hope, I'll make a great deal of the civilians so it might take a while.. as I wrote it has to be realitstic and also I wan't to make it look very good...

oh.. In case you wan't to ask about realism in a Post apocalypse scenery here's a thought.. it might not be realistic today but it might very well be tomorrow..

Simple as adding this to the config:

genericNames = "CzechWomen";
woman = 1;
identityTypes[] = {"Woman","Language_w_CZ"};

That's for Czech speaking women. I'm not too sure what the identity types for english speaking women are (or if they even exist), I'd imagine it's Language_w_EN though.

If you want the female breathing sounds etc., you can add these lines as well:

thanks D@VÅ that was a great help and a great time saver it takes forever to go through the original configs to find these lines..

Looking very nice! are you going to do new faces too? with scars, beard, filth all over etc.? I get a feeling that beards would be very common in the post-apocalyptic world.
