topas 1 Posted December 29, 2009 We need roadsigns of that times. signs download Included you will find traffic signs that were introduced in 1926 and some new ones that were an effect of the traffic code reform started in late 1938; Unfortunatelly with the start of the war the reform and all new signs have not been implemented; On the other hand the occupying force introduced their own signs to the polish region; Result was a wartime-mess with all kinds of different signs all around... All has been removed and unified eventually, but not until the late 40's/early 50's With the .psd you should be more than able to make direction signs for all the towns and villages that will be on your map; the ones I included shall only be a template to customize Below a direction sign of that era for modelling reference: Greets TOPAS
johncage 30 Posted December 29, 2009 ARM2CAT, the pic is not at all larger as the previous one, and not clickable I'm affraid.. Is it a way to tease us maybe? i think when he says "for personal amusement" it's the amusement he gets from torturing us with those tiny pictures.
RUDOLF 9 Posted December 29, 2009 (edited) Look at this! I think it would be removed soon for oversize this time! But dont want you guy to think like that. Edited January 5, 2010 by ARM2CAT

Ingeneer 10 Posted December 29, 2009 (edited) Topas, last picture I see 2 kind of arrows. Which are usable in which causes? About road signs Where are old and where're new? And this picture -whom property it is? Can we use it? Edited December 29, 2009 by Ingeneer
topas 1 Posted December 29, 2009 (edited) The one to the left is more 'modern' and is to be seen on many post '39 pics; The german ones seemed to follow the same shape and overall look Have not seen the one to the right too often; must be the older one; from the 20's It seems they were coexistent; Re signs; 1926 ones -> these are the blue ones 1938 ones -> white/red after 1939 -> well, most obvious -> german or polish/german inscriptions hint: first from the left [with '20'] is equivalent to today's Taxi Stand ;) blue with JEDEN KIERUNEK JAZDY means One Way Only [same means Einbahnstrasse] Hope this is good enough for ya; -------- Picture of the arrows is probably a part of scanned article in magaizne 'Automobilista'; for classic car enthusiasts Found on www.znaki-drogowe.pl Edited December 29, 2009 by topas

Darkhorse 1-6 16 Posted January 4, 2010 (edited) do you have a release date or a Demo release date? Well if the Liberation mod is like most other mods than I can take a guess at the release date. Check Spoiler (Not for the faint of heart, or the easily surprised) WHEN ITS DONE. lol. OT: Mod looks great so far. Soon we will be able to recreate every aspect of the war in europe during WW2. Edited January 4, 2010 by Darkhorse 1-6 I am not related the the Liberation mod. This post was just a joke/wisecrack.
Soldat-Hans 0 Posted January 4, 2010 @Darkhorse Lol, yes, when they were like Invasion44, they release their mod, then, when no one ever will play it because Arma 3 is out! ;)
