“liberation 1941-1945

Recommended Posts

They will post when they have new stuff to post.

When they do post it seems to show alot and thats how they want to do it i'm guesssing (like last video etc) Simple as that really.

The mod is free and they will work at there own pace. Asking them for new screens etc is pushing them and no one likes to be pushed and not payed.

If one looks on http: // arma.at.ua/forum/11 2500 1 the mod seems to be continued no more! Should this be the case nevertheless the developer team could transmit her work on another team!

With it the whole work would not have been free of charge and this great Mod could be still finished!

Yamatoforever, you seem to link to a non existing webpage.

Furthermore, it's the mod maker's or team's decision to announce news and they do if they feel like sharing anything. It's not like they 'owe' anything to the community' so bumping is not in order. Patience is.

Well then if I make a " Kursk, Berlin, Seelow Heights or any other Eastern Front map then the community got one.

How is the progress by the way?

To every Body, who didnt recognized it:" It seems, that the Liberation Mod team, is able to make an own game, that is named:"Iron Front - Liberation 1944".

It seems to be the Lib mod (units, and so on seem to be the same). I am very glad to hear that. So they will be able to release their mod this or next year, and it might be a much better quality, than they would have, when they just mod.:yay: I personally love eastern Front, and I heard, it will be have the mission tool, Arma 2 has! So, hell yeah! They have my buy!

If you get pay, you can devote more time and resources into a project.

Sounds like a good approach.

I know that the models seem to be the same but until now I have not seen a confirmation of the Libmod team that it really is them.

Of course I might have missed it. :)

It really would be awesome if it was them! :yay:

is the MOD still alive or did you guys quit the MOD

Mod is dead and never released, but... the team created their own game instead using the Arma2CO engine and called their game

Iron Front: Liberation 1944

seen here: http://ironfront.deepsilver.com/en/

So once a mod is now a standalone game, although a different name.

They should have released as a mod and opened donations... they would have made more money than they would by releasing as a game IMO

I think BIS might have had something to say about people making money of a mod for their game.

BIS cannot prevent people from taking donations...

They can prevent people from outright selling a mod, but they cannot prevent donations.

Ah, that way. Still, can't imagine that many would donate for a mod they can get for free.

Do not derail a thread, the discussion above makes no sense at all and has nothing to do with the subject here.

Also, do not dig up old and inactive threads! There was no post here in over a year, so why dig it up with a status question?

Locked as this is never going to be released as a mod anyway.
