I think Bravo6 did the right thing of renaming it as people will see TrueXXX.pbo as Rg's work.

Seeing the beautiful Humvee interior, the Humvee modeler must cry every time he plays the game, such a waste with the vanilla FOV :)

Thanks for the feedback,

Im creating some new icons for the Team Leaders, they look something like these:

Note: they are big because in setting is set them to be big, ie, they can be smaller.

Nice work!

Too bad it is "only" a mod then ...

BI should really stay to own old values instead of inventing new things (and bugs) in many aspects.

I love AA2 but it's frustrating to see things turn to bad when they once worked good in OPF and Armed Assault: Always hated the view of the AI troops (light green on a very green background ... arrrgh and quite difficult to understand who is gunned with what ... ) and much of the views had been shaped to worse too.

But as times and modders come .... ;-)

Yes! I completely missed this thread.

Something with the icons was done in A1 (I think "Proper" mod) where the icons were better represented to make it quicker to note what unit is what.

And again BIS changed it to something even more vague at quick glance ... your icons are perfectly done, transparency is much welcomed for GUI too, I don't like heavy clogged up GUI when in game with backgrounds, this is whats needed no question.

proper mod or whatever, simply used existing icons in ArmA1 folders.

What I'm doing here is to create new ones that does not exist in order to easily identify some units and their main weapon.

I also agree that BI's original icons are very vague and not perfect.

I might do it for the different units and sides with their particular weapons.

If i consider to create new icons for each existing side, can take some time. Remember this is just a small part of the hole idea.

So far the file is almost 2mb because of the new icons.

I just discovered a new technique to create new, better and more real ingame icons of each soldier for the leader command bar.

The new USMC Tank Crew soldier icons:

Looks absolutely awesome man! The guys in the former images with the more green look a little more hardcore somehow, but the last look more proper. Will SF guys be represented by SF icon guys or generic dudes?

Your doing an awesome job. Will use this for sure 100% when out! :)

You think more green and possibly darker look better? I ask it because i really want to know peoples opinion on it, Its easy to update the icon colors..

Ill try and see how they turn out with more green and darker.

Yes I intend to make SF icons for the SF guys, of course. :)
