I spendt some hours here is the result:

CAA1 Full Installer with classic and Autumn plants.

HTTP download and torrent

i included the batch file to start the game its very simple made.

i hope i did no mistake.

I seem to be having a few problems with getting CAA1 to work after downloading through yoma addon sync.

After using the mission Fly like an eagle as a test I keep getting the following error,

Cannot load world 'ca\sara\sara.wrp'

My shortcut is as follows,

"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -mod=x\caa1;x\oac\oac_core -world=sara -nosplash

Also I'm not getting the maps in the editor either, even though after going the folders everything seems to be there.

Hehe I have searched these forums, caa1 wiki and google and have come up with nothing so I'm really stumped as to what is wrong.

Two things you should do 1. Don't load sara in the world. Just put -world=empty. 2. If you are loading an old mission you have to edit its mission.sqm. Try looking for the line/lines:

"sara",

and change it to:

"oac_core",

It should be near the top and near the bottom of mission.sqm.

I ported over an old mission yesterday and I had to change over a couple of other things to get it to work properly. The first thing you should do is create a new mission in Sahrani and save it with vehicles and units you like then look at the mission.sqm and compare what needs to be changed in the old missions.

Sickened that this mod dies, the game is far superior when played in Sahrani. :mad:

I love the mode but I simply can't find anyone playing it on servers... At least not with ACE, and this in combination with ACE is even better!

I have created some fixes for some problems I discovered on the maps. See here for more info and a few screens. I will try and upload somewhere if kju won't include them in his distros.

Since the Final Version is out, i wonder if there as a package for download which replaces the Roads, to make the AI able to drive on it correctly....

I would love to make a Sahrani Campgain, but with the road issue it takes too much possibilites...Is there something that fixes that?

Is there anybody still using this mod? I have major problems with the mod, from time to time objects, buildings are missing from the map. I tried reinstalling the whole game and the mod completely several times, but after each install situation worsened. Now I have entire cities vanished from the maps, missing a lot of objects, just to name some:

from ca\buildings

-SS_hangar.p3d

-helfenburk_brana.p3d

-kap02.p3d

and there are a lot more

I still use the version that fixed AI using vehicles on roads. Not having any problem besides a odd gate which hasn't got he right azimut or a ladder u can't climb. Didn't see anyone who has the problems u describe.

It would suggest putting the pbo's (which are in all the subfolders) in one big addon folder and try it then.

Yes I always copy them into one addon folder.

And figured the problem out. I was using PROPER building visual addon, that was causing the problems, I just overcome it many times. :confused:

Hi guys I just installed this mod and i get these two errors

I get this when I start the game

addon caa1_f_ah6 requires addon extended_eventhandlers

and in the game menu i get

picture/ca/ui/data/splash1_co.ppa not found.

any idea what the problem could be?

Downloaded the mod threw addon sync and launched it threw the program.

extended_eventhandlers you will find in the Community Based Addons - CBA. theres a thread for it.

I cant help you with the other error.

Thanks alot dragonBaron I was wondering is there anything that can be done to remove the arma 1 worlds loading in the background after playing arma 1 worlds in the editor?

And where any of the campaigny from arma 1 or missions ever converted?

Has anyone run into a slight problem when using BMP-2's with CAA1 and ACE at the same time? I thought I found a problem when, with CAA1 and ACE loaded, that placing an empty Russian BMP-2 anywhere on any map would cause the game to crash to my desktop. Does anyone know what causes this?

Hey guys, i have a problem using CAA1 with Ace : i have CTD with the different BMPs. Regarding to this post and this topic it seems to be OAC related.

I know kju isn't here anylonger and that CAA1 will not be updated anymore, but if somebody has an idea of what needs to be modified in OAC in order to run Ace and CAA1 together, it would be great

Does anyone know what causes this?

i just want to use the great Razani map so i only downloading this with Yoma:

- CAA1 ArmA Objects Only

- CAA1 QG Objects Only

not sure, but i think you need CAA1 Full or ALLWORLDS

In the FAQ it says:

If you want do use ArmA community worlds in ArmA II use, the CAA1 - ArmA - ObjectsOnly - YASDLS

or the ArmA objects only installer are the way to go.

I still get a error if i start the game, it says:

"Addon CAplants is missing"

Where can i get the CAplants ?

It would be great if someone could say me the full filename ([...].pbo) so i can download this single file with Yoma and dont have to download all other files.

And it looks like the river has no "real" water...do i need something more ?

I think you need the oac addon to. Im not sure though but I think that is needed for anything caa1.
