Very low poly (80 points / 100 faces) with 64X64 texture 1/1 unit.

Every unit that are in Arma2 and some AA like patriot and sa-400 or 300.

No animations.

hi guys, i am very new to arma and i was wondering if anyone was thinking of making or already working on an R.A.F Tornado. It is an amazing aircraft and it would be realy cool to have it in Arma 2. Here is a link to a picture of it.

A request for Mandoble to come back to A2 and port his Mando Missiles and Mando Bombs PLEASE.

For those of you that have never experienced what Mando can do - he is an Arma GURU !

EDIT : As a personal edit I've been semi-successful at transferring over both these things. There are some serialisation errors in the rpt and also some dialog problems. Apart from changing some class names they all work !

It REALLY needs mandoble to do his thing though

Few ideas, I would like to see

1. Humvee's that look like they are operating in a war zone and not like they just came out of factory. I always hated the new&unused look on all arma(2) vehicles :P Somebody made 3 types of Range Rover Defenders for Arma1 and those looked so cool with all the details. A humvee thats scratced, maybe little dirty, backpacks at the back, tags and insignias on the doors...maybe it sounds excessive but it would be fun&realistic

I want to play the campaign in slow motion! I've played around with SetAccTime in the editor and it's really fun. I pretty much want SetAccTime but in like a .pbo file.

Is is possible? If it is, how could I make one? Thanks!

Please make a mod where the grass effects the IA. So you can hide etc.. The current game state is very unrealistic unless the AI are T1000 Terminator robots....

hey, I think this could have been said already (I don't have time right now to look through all of the posts... sorry) yet I would like to say this for anyone who hasn't said it.

Zombies... I tried a zombie mod for OFP:R and it was perfect for the game engine. I think it would be just as great (if not better) for ArmA 2... I mean who doesn't love zombies (except for the crappy movies about zombies...)

Another small addon I would like to see would be an AN-94 "Abakan" rifle, it is used by the real Spetznaz and is a cool gun that I would think would add to the atmosphere of intense battles between special forces squads (you know, the demoralizing sound of those 2 round bursts).

Alright, not sure if this is possible but figured I'd throw it out there.

I Realize that Triple Head is the way to go for multiple monitors, it's just not in the cards for me any time soon. However, I did just purchase a new WS LCD, and was wondering if the following could even be done.

When I searched, someone had mentioned it for Arma I, but no one really responded to it (bad sign?)

Basically I will soon have 2 monitors. I plan on running arma II on my new "fancy" monitor, and figured I'd just have system info and teamspeak running on the other monitor.

However, it would be nice if I could have the map screen up on my other monitor, with compass/gps displayed. I'd figure you would still use the "M" key to toggle over to the other screen and do things on the map.

I can already see running into some problems (for me at least):

1) The resolution I plan to run A2 @ isn't supported on my old monitor.

2) Similar to 1, but different aspect ratio on each monitor (4:3 old, 16:9 new)

3) I'm sure there are more I'm not thinking of...

Anyways, just thought I'd throw it into the mix. Any of the smart guys in here have an idea as to whether or not this is even plausible?

A) Paintball Mod

I think a paintball mod would be nice :p I sometimes go paintballing myself, it's very fun and needs teamwork if you want to win :)

This could be fun for multiplayer, for example :

2 teams start on the opposite side somewhere on a small map with in the middle a medium sized round fortress. Then they need to fight several rounds :

1) Team vs Team

2) Defend the fortress (one team starts in the fortress)

3) Defend the president (both teams have a president and need to get to the other team's starting point)

4) Deathmatch

Ow .. and as we play paintball, if someone gets hurt he needs to put his arms in the air and walk to the start point of his team and wait a minute or even wait the entire round until next round starts. (I think this animation is possible in arma -> The surrender animation for example could be used)

And the overall score makes the winning team :)

B) Hunter mod

I recently played The hunter (it's a free game and very nice !!) and it would be so much fun if we could have some hunting rifles and especially extra animals to hunt at in arma :D Anybody ever played the game carnivores ? It's a hunting game where you hunt dinosaurs ... can you imagine a T-rex in arma2 :D It would be so much fun !!!!!!!!

C) Aliens mod

Title says it all, Aliens like in the alien films or something like

. That would also be so much fun because they move very quick so you have to aim fast and shoot good. And maybe a possible addon to make a sentry gun or something to help defend ^^

I think the above suggested mods are possible to make and I would try to do it all myself, I currently have lot's of time but my knowledge of arma is very very limited :-(

Airport tow tractor hitch capability....I know there was an attempt for OFP to get this to work but I don't believe it ever functioned properly.

I would love to see the tow tractors be able to hitch to the front of aircraft, and have a realistic degree of movement in order to taxi aircraft to the runway as well as back them into hangars...

SU25t, All you need to do is swap the 4 guided missiles on the current model to be the Vikhir tubes off the KA52. Easy, and it improves its anti tank capabilities no end.
