co 22 Afgan Patrol

hello this is my first mission i release to the public

it is base on a small special forces mission into a taliban strongpoint you must clear the village and then attack the taliban Stronghold

mods to play this missions

Hi there,

I played your mission for a bit.

I think its a simple, but great mission.

Some points i want to say:

Could you write a longer briefing? What exactly is the primary mission? You write in the briefing: Destroy the Stronghold... Should we blow the hole thing up? Clear it? Clear the hole map?

After you die, you loose your ability to use the Map... Its all black.

I know, this is a feature of ACE, but there are no Maps to pick up. Or did we miss something?

I would change the Blackhawk with rockets to a BH with two miniguns. More usefull in this type of terrain. Perhaps some Littlebirts too?  whistle.gif

The Force Recons in this mission arent realy Force Recons... More like USMC Grunts... didnt fit the briefing... nener.gif

thanks for you feedback and i will be doing 1 more mission on afgan then 2 missions on the Avgani map

yet again thanks for your feedback like i said this was my first mission i release to the public so they can only get better

I get a face error (mutation) whilst playing this. It's nothing life threatening or anything just annoying, It only does it in this mission too :S

Edit the mission by removing the game logic "Enable: Require Map Object" or give to the players the ACE_Map objet.

Or simply wait for an update by Lightninguk wink_o.gif

Hi

There are some problems with mission. I don't know if mission ends (lack of triggers with conditions) and like above - map disappearing at start.

BTW. Nice atmosphere here smile_o.gif Me and my mates liked it very much. Kepp fixing bugs.

Or it could imply that it is a mission for the British 22nd regiment (SAS)...

Did you disable the starting tanks ?

I can't enter them (using the first version of the mission).

I also don't have the map at start.

Because its a official expansion pack to the game.

And because the new animations gives mission makers more to work with.

Thanks JanMasterson. Took me a while to figure out what you mean (i'm no mission maker) but i got it at the end.

Put simply, with "Enable: Require Map Object" you need to have the map object in your inventory to see the map.

You can also walk onto someone who has the map object, and read their map by using the action menu.
