Lightninguk 0 Posted May 30, 2009 Shouldn't this be the Falkland Islands campaign? I believe that we settled this when we proved it was indeed ours...Maybe if there were any British people working on the mod things would've been different? i am from the uk, i am also a ex member of the army and i am very happy to be building some of the missions for this mod
Prydain 1 Posted June 2, 2009 The Islands don't belong to us, they belong to the Falklanders who want to remain with the UK. Thats far from saying they are ours.
Alphadelta 10 Posted June 3, 2009 "Campaña de Malvinas" can be directly translated to "Campaign of Falklands". Malvinas is just the spanish name for the islands. The Spanish have their own words for many countries, for example Germany in Spanish is "Alemania". So if a Spanish-speaking mod maker were to make a "Campaign of Germany" they would translate it as "Campaña de Alemania", that doesn't mean they own Germany! :) Hopefully the mod-maker will develop an English language localised version and the name of the mod will be translated correctly i.e "The Falklands Campaign". Cheers and thanks for the hard-work, looking forward to this one!

Col. Faulkner 0 Posted August 1, 2009 Any News Catito14 ? Excuse me if you already know, but they have a website for their project. Maybe you'll get more up-to-date information there: www.cazadoresdemonte.com.ar/malvinas
catito14 0 Posted August 18, 2009 (edited) Sorry for the silence of radio, we were very busy this last months. Though already the matter remained resolved, it is exactly as Alphadelta said , the name MALVINAS is in Spanish, MALOUINES in French, FALKLANDS in English, etc. etc. As for the date of release, we decided to launch soon the models finished up to the moment for the Armed Assault, and to continue with the complete development for the ARMA 2. Here I leave images of the vehicles "with wheels", which it is the last thing that we are going to realize for the Armed Assault. The rest (planes, helicopters, ships, etc.) will be for ARMA 2. http://ofp.gamepark.cz/_hosted/malvinas/malvinas/desarrollo/autos/panhard.jpg http://ofp.gamepark.cz/_hosted/malvinas/malvinas/desarrollo/autos/landrover.jpg http://ofp.gamepark.cz/_hosted/malvinas/malvinas/desarrollo/autos/unimog.jpg More pics in the site:http://ofp.gamepark.cz/_hosted/malvinas/malvinas/sitio_eng.htm Col.Faulkner: Thanks for your post helping to RMSnipe with the address of our web site. I know we had our differences in the past, but i hope that we could leave this in the past. I saw your recently work in your project, is truly amazing, keep with your great work! :) Kind Regards Edited March 19, 2010 by Rellikki

catito14 0 Posted August 27, 2009 The night battle looks really good. Is that meant to be Tumbledown? The place, i think is Longdon. I don´t know exactly because the video was done by another member of the team. It´s only a "promo" video, because the Cia Commandos 601/602 never fought against the Scots Guards :D
