SLX Vehicles

Thanks everyone! Here's a quick fix for the bugs so far, this is the last update:

Change log:

1.1

Possibly fixed MP flapping doors bug.

Fixed UAZ .tga texture errors on servers.

Added random flat tires on HMMWVs when destroyed.

Moved scripts to config addon.

Fixed not being able to shoot through the UH60 glass.

There were opening door and get in animations in OFP but in ArmA the animations don't work as well for it but they can still be made, the OFP animations are still in the SLX_Veh pbo if you want to see what they should look like. The HMMWV glass should be armored against weaker bullets. Look in the config to find the animation names, in the cfgVehicles AnimationSources class.

Also my message box is full and I can't empty it so if anyone needs to contact me again send an email to Solus.SLX at gmail.com

I will be moving and I don't know when I might be able to return so this is the last I will be able to post. ParaGraphic_L should be able to release SLX Mod in about 3 weeks if I can't return.

Found a bug, the Mk19 starts the reload anim when there is one round left

Edit: this seams to apply to the m2 aswell

Can't wait for patches and extends... the more vehicles have these effects, the more happy I become biggrin_o.gif fixed glasses, animated MGs, doors... || [edit: tested v1.0]

Bugs I found:

DShKM mounted on UAZ has no reloading effect.

Destroyed M939 witih M2 has few bullets levitating above hatch.

- Check, server still freezes when loading the add on, though (I don't know why, .rpt seems clear? Is this add on server-sided anyways? works fine for clients only, apparently)

anyway this can be setup as a replacement mod so all default vehicles can have this?

If you read the first post you'll see:

"The scripts for each vehicle are hopefully open ended enough to be used with any vehicle, but shouldn't be too hard to modify for most."

So it is possible, but Solus only did some. Which do replace the default vehicles allready

you make me unhappily happy: it is not working with ECS. That means for me I will stay with ECS.

At least ECS extended AI.

Isn't ECS made compatibel with Extended Event Handlers in the latest release?

I expect that is what causes it. If not Solus did create a bridge for ECS maybe I'm allowed to upload it.

Works perfectly well with the client-side version of ECS.

Didn't test it with the full release but no trouble to report on this side :)

Very nice addon. Thanks for your hard work!

Its compatible with ECS. You need to download a small fix and be sure to use latest extended eventhandlers. Put the handlers in its own mod folder like @XEH and place it very last in your command line.

That's awesome. The increased immersive factor is great. notworthy.gif Hope this becomes standard in ArmA:2.

Would have liked to have seen:

- Strykers included (since they are commonly used)

- a requirement to open rear hatch (eg: bmp-2) to access ammo from outside of vehicle or at least see hatch open up when accessing ammo/gear

Are there commands to allow scripts to operate the doors?

This is an vary nice thing here but this only works via script ya got to put it in evry time? Cant this be an easyer way just to add some SLX Vehicles in the BLUFOR side the other sides? This makes it alot more better for us people with the scripts issues wink_o.gif  Why all the scripts do it your self things? Why not just include Vehicles that already have them in it. So you just put the vehicles on map and play. So much easyer for us people that dont go to all the scripts and add this here and that there thing.
