Have you considered asking someone whos made a existing Eotech for access to theirs?

I believe a few mods around have Eotech models.

Like the 6thSense mod with their HK416/FN SCAR weapon pack, that pack had a nice looking Eotech.

If you're running out of ideas for the M4 family, what about?

M249 para (aimpoint / acog / M4 Butt / bipod up) or

M240 with bipod folded up (aimpoint / acog)?

A few more AK74 variants would be nice too, e.g. PSO1 w. GP30, AKS74 variants of same, etc. But whatever you've got time for mate.

Hi, hey hey hey.. remember people; "im just a player". And for some

others... a thief and a s** of the b****; so im not a modeller, otherwise

i'll had made my own Eotech model for the already existing weapons,

other possible changes, will be for example... to reduce the ACOG

sighted weapons zoom, to the 2Nd zoom level of the Aimpoint sighted

weapons, we'll win FOV and also a few FPS that will help us in areas

with alot of bushes, tall grass... or just dense woods. But there's

nothing final yet on this, i was thinking in ask the Swiss Mod for

use theyr Eotech models and textures; but as i've said, there's

nothing final about anything of this. Let's C ya

Hi, the ACOG version of this M4's A3 SB or CAR-15SB ACOG:

If i were better texturer... i'll resize down a bit the ACOG sight and

will also add the glowing effect that the tritium have; but i've never

been able of make a transparency work on the PS as .tga and then

convert it "safely" to .paa to simulate this, or lights glowing in custom

IFV sights etc, i guess that im townfolk... . Let's C ya

What you've got here is very close to the Mk18.

The Mk18 is an M4A1 with 10.3in barrel, RIS or RAS, a BUIS of some description, mostly of the chopped carry handle type, and an aimpoint.

ACOG is probably overkill for a short barrel carbine, but you're doing nice work.

Hi, if someone wonders if the weapons v1.3 (the lastest release)

works with the v1.14 of the game... they do, without problems; i

just wanted to inform the players for if someone had any doubt

about it. Let's C ya

Hi, apart of think in add those 3 variants plus the SD versions, i've

been thinking in add LAM's to all the weapons, and also add too

a M4A1-CQB (M203) & a M4A1-CQB (M203-SD); something like this:

But im not sure too, im also thinking in remove the M203 Leaf Sight

from the top of the RIS and let the grenadier aim "using his practice"

in "the fine art of frag off others with a 40mm grenade". Let's C ya

Hi, Boooo..!!! sadly i got to inform that, the CQB+M203 M4's are

not possible, the M203 that we got is not the shorty, made for the

M4A1's, it's the tipical one and it's too long for any SB M4 with less

than 12" of barrel. Let's C ya

Hey wipman, great work on those. I am really happy you're providing us with such a nice variety of accessories for the M4.

I was wondering, will you be releasing a replacement config file for your weapons, so we can use 'em right "out of the box"?

Hi, no man, i don't have the skills to make a replacement config and

that's what prevents me from release the updated pack; the config.

That i think that i gonna have more than one problem with it to

put the new weapons, those M4A3-SB that unless the SD versions,

are done. So as soon as i get the SD versions, add this new weapons

to the config and try the pack in game (with the v1.14) i'll release

the updated pack as a v1.5 of the weapons. The thing goes like...

this:

- v1.3 latest release.

- v1.4 LAM added to all the already existing weapons.

- v1.5 M4A3's Short Barrell for those poor loosers o the RACS.

Maybe you can ask col sanderslite, I think he helped a few already with creating replacements.

But no matter what you decide those weapons are looking great.

Hi, i don't know whitch ones "should" replace the default weapons,

the main pourpouse of this weapons pack was to extend the AR's

available to the default units and addon units, mainly for missions

makers. So i don't know whitch ones should replace the standard

weapons, thanks for your offer i0n0s, but maybe you'll preffer to

ask =ACU=Tech about it, because i'd never though about it and

rightnow i just can think in few possible replacements. Let's C ya

I've corrected some bugs that passed unnoticed to us in the already

released weapons plus add all those new models, now only remains

the most boring and tedious job of all, make the inventory pics and

the most dangerous thing; the damn config, where im sure that i

gonna f*** it all very badly for sure. Let's C ya

Hi, one question for real 3D modelers, will be possible (will work) to

change the Geometry LOD by the ShadowVolume 0.000 redefining

the whole 3D model in the ShadowVolume 0.000 as: Component01

once copyed as/in the Geometry LOD?.

Is that at least in my opinion, sucks and may be kinda like a small

cheat, to have a big box that stops the bullets instead the body

of the weapon, with it's lines and form and not the big box that the

current M4's have; unlike the M16A4's... that have a Geometry LOD

that follows perfectly the lines and form of the weapon and it's

attachments so only the weapon can stop the bullets where

it really is. Would it be possible?. Let's C ya

*Edit: A graphical example of what i try to mean.

In the M16A4 Aimpoint, there isn't any zone sorrunding the weapon

itself, that can stop the bullets; while in the M4A1 Aimpoint the

red marked zone, stops the bullets beyond the weapon body

itself; and that's wrong, bad, unprecise and could be also taken

as a cheat or bug that may have consecuences on the game play.

Hi, i've already updated the weapons models, renamed 'em and

i've also fixed the shadows LODS plus remove some not necessary

LODs; i haven't found any anyone that borrowns me an Eotech

model; so... i fear that those gonna be the only weapon models

in the pack.

So... as soon as i've a working config and try 'em in game... i'll

release 'em; now a possible replacement can be made with this

weapons; i've added the M4A1 Iron Sight & one + M203 for that

reason, that with the ACOG sigthed ones could serve for replace

the BIS weapons. Now i gonna go back to my beer. Let's C ya

Hi, the updated config is in the works and we're trying to fix some

weird problems during the binarization of the new models, something

about "missing coordinate xxx" that i don't know how to solve, so

we all gonna have to wait a little more. Let's C ya

Hi, someone know where can i hang 477Kb of text from the .rpt

after the binarization of the models?, i have some problems with

the models that i don't really know how to solve or what's causing

'em and maybe, if i hang somewhere (other than from a tree) the

text of those error messages... someone could come and enlight

"my two neurones" before that they take too much heat and i dismiss

the idea of the update. Let's C ya
