CRIONYK's weapon pack and units

hello all

after some months of work, i decided to show arma community a screen of my projects. i'm working on a weapon pack. i have actually around 20 different weapons, some with accessories. actually, i'm working on the models. the next step will be adjusting the textures and obtaining a good visual effect.

so i dont speak anymore and here the first picture of my work :

Hey Crionyk, would you happen to have a Steyr AUG in the pipeline too? There's a need for an updated model of the Steyr pistols.gif

Looks good, but if you want to keep using those texturetomaterial values, you're really going to have to work on the sharp edges (or lack there of at the moment). If you check out around the grip of the HK416 and the selector switch of the MP5, you'll see a lot of incrrecotly lit faces which if you sharpend the edges (and flatten the points) will look a lot better.

would be nice if you could add a crane buttstock to the HK416 just to add a new wrinkle to the m4 series.

Hi guys !

As far as I know, the project is still in beta and I had a chance to test the french Famas to make a feedback. Actualy, it works so good that i'm still using it tounge2.gif

Here is a capture of "full french soldiers". Enjoy ! (more captures to come)

In accordance with "realism" the French soldiers will have a suppression script, correct? whistle.gif

Seriously though, those look excellent. Although isn't this the wrong section for this topic? You got me all excited they were available

ive been waiting for an hk416 for awhile thats going to be the next big weapon in the spec ops community and possibly in the us military all together i like the other weapons as well but i personally think the fn2000 and hk416 are the best as for french soldiers well they are like the swiss mod team sure they are not used much but the more armies we have in game the more scenarios we can make and the more toys to play with as for requests definity scar-h scar-h and a well modeled l85a1 good work

those weapons were made by you or they are imported from other game ?

Most of the weapons are made by CRYONYK of course.

some weapons are from me, and a little are imported from CSS, but i use mostly little parts from these models like stocks, foregrips, grenade launchers....

all of those weapons have bad normals..(sharp/smooth edges)

check that in oxygen if you dont include sharp/smooth edges in the normal map..

@nephilim : how do you do that in normal maps ? i know that in o2 i have to use this option but not in normal map

@ Profe : the only problem that original BIS anims are bad. this weapon have a particular hand-hold so soldier's hand are in wrong place banghead.gif
