Hi fellas, this looks like awesome work all around. From development to use to video, wow.

A couple questions:

1. Does this mod change the core PBO's for the game?

2. Are there any registry changes on installation?

3. Can you run this via a mod folder or by addon installation?

4. Do you have a map from Averageville to Elite Island?

Good stuff. I can't speak or read French, but I "get" interfaces, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

hehe the mod just changes so much (in a good way) I wanted to know what it changes. If it changes core PBO's, I can simply backup the Bohemia Interactive folder in its entirety, whereas if it makes registry changes, I'd best image my whole drive incase I want/have to change back.

Thanks for your comments. The 1.3 Version of the XAM

will be translated in english (voices and text) and will be distributed in only one file, a unified single and multiplayer version.

French version: English voices and french text.

English version: English voices end english text.

u can have XAM and another sound mod i think , but hten u´ll lose the XAM sounds, i hope they are better then the mod war sounds, but i doubt it, i really like the combat sound though (the squad talking).

is there a way to get modwarsound with those combat voices?

another thing, will there be a multiplayer map which features XAM mod 1.3 (trsnportable vehiles and such)? maybe a evolution XAM version?

From what I know the 1.3 version is only in french, the english version comes out in two days.

I have just tried and there are 3 mirrors available, took me 2 hours to download it.

Just try one of the other mirrors available on their site.

Armaholic.com will mirror this mod but we will have to wait for the english release......The only French word I can translate is "no" (yes spoken with many fancy French girls ) so I can not make a page atm.

As soon as we have the English file you will also be able to find the French version.

Anyway, I have been following this mod for a while now and I am looking forward to be able to try it.

Should be a lot of fun playing/using it.

I just d/l'd XAM 1.3 and i must say that even though i have a limited understanding of french (got a C in highschool french), this mod has reinvigorated my desire to play ArmA. I can't wait for the english release later this week.

oh and mostly important, a pdf how to use the tank commander computer efficiently and the sniper watcher utilities would be nice.

yes username is XAm and password aucun, got the password from official forums.
