How about closing the thread with:

You can make it yourself!

And then post appropriate links after the tools are out, but for now direct them to the 3rd party tools topic.

We know that those requests are in most cases pointless, as the addon makers have enough ideas what to do. But it's better to have all requests here than having them scattered in x threads, then addon makers w/o enough idea can search through here.

When the tools come out.....If there is anyone out there thinking of making RPG7 variations I would be happy to see them.

Ones with optic site and without. And different munitions... I believe there was one for OFP... not sure though

I've always wanted a shark laser addon. I'm hoping someone can make me lasers for ArmA. it will be awesome, and if they add the lasers to sharks.. that would be superb. thanks.

Not exactly a request, however watching sky news i think that anyone who makes a Apache could just add some harnesses to the wings, the British army ones do for emergences and was shown during that recent operation last week in Afghanistan, would be very cool.

maybe enough room for 1 soldier on each wing?

I think the NIM mods 3d clouds were transfered over to Armed Assault.

I too like the idea of having the requests all together in

one thread.

Would it be too much, asking for a better organisation

of the thread?

What i mean is:

To collect the realistic/promissing/serious addon requests

in the first post with (maybe) even further information

about wether they are already accepted or in the works

by an addon maker/mod team - and off course by which

one and by whom the request was.

This would probably help the thread to not explode in size

by over and over the same requests and could also motivate

some people to think about their requests and not to post

useless requests .

Also it would be for better overview in general about the

requests.

A "Homeworld: Planet Invasion". Imagine homeworld would land on the earth. Kinda like first groundcontrol. beautiful skypacks (would be great if could make diffrent skypes per diffrent islands but otherstand thats not the way ArmA made it), and droppods.

Discussed this with a friend, we got enough projects for arma and life but we would really like this. Now we looking forward to Tiberium mod.

I think a Apache Helicopter would be very cool. But with real Cockpit Graphics that's works real in ArmA, not the Bullshit Textures from BIS.

i believe it's more than possible in arma, what do you think guys?

well, tiltrotors are replacing usmc Ch-46 now, so idea is even very realistic.

- dirty syringes, joint, crack pipe, mirror with blade and white residue, etc.

Face/body textures of individuals who are worn down by the use of drugs.

I mention drug items requested for ArmA addons because showing such items in the urban environment, especially in certain poor and corrupt areas.  Many places in the world suffer from being overrun by illegal drugs destroying the social infrastruture of the community.
