paragraphic l 2 Posted November 13, 2006 @Matthijs: My thoughts exactly and one more addition to what I allready said painkillers; i allready have a big grin on my face and it's starting to heart allready, just imaging how the big smile I'm having, when I'm the owner of my own ArmA copy, will be hearting. DEAD_RABBIT 0 Posted November 13, 2006 What the hell is it with those caps with ArmA logos on them? I want a non-plastic-looking helmet with an ArmA logo, PLUS mounted headphone speakers and Microphone! Or, a Ghillie suit! Look at this dude. The only way to play ArmA in style. I want that too Something to put on top of computer screen ... an Arma round mounted ... a perspex orinment with the BIS/Arma logo ... something to touch and hold ... to love even ! A shirt would be nice .... a one size fits all (for all us fat b*stards out there) Oh and next weeks lottery numbers would be even better !!!! But most of all I want the game ... and I want it now !! coderdfox 0 Posted November 13, 2006 BF2 came with a "headphones and mic" Kinda cheap looking but mine still work great! But it sounds like the VOIP in ARMA isnt all that.
wipman 1 Posted November 13, 2006 Hi, i think that for a special ArmA box, will be good that it will include: - ArmA DVD (Star Force free) - Shahari map - Military Compass - Editing Tools CD/DVD with english manuals and MLOD sample models - Coyote Tan MOLLE 4th gen. Backpack with a small ArmA logo - Pencil made with bullets - A poster of Milla Jovovich or Michele Trachtemberg naked or doing nasty things (to make the elbow suffer) - Keyring with the ArmA logo - Watch with the BIS, ArmA or 505 Games logo in the sphere - A military "food" ration - 1 coke gram - 1L of Absolut vodka or some czech absenta bottle - Shahari Armed Forces arm patch Or welll... something like that... over all the Star Force out of ANY ArmA CD's/DVD's & the Milla Jovovich or Michelle Trachtemberg poster in pantys, naked or just doing something really really nasty. Let's C ya
leehy 0 Posted November 13, 2006 For US version, same as CZ version plus, 50 rounds of Sellier &Bellot 124gr. 9mm ammunition.(if impossible, will settle for 115gr, or Winchester 9mms) Na, the US version needs to be patched so "friendly fire" is disabled. But how about a "Toy Soldier"?? Already i have one this, TS maker, quality, Not good, Sorry
Maddmatt 1 Posted November 13, 2006 I think a microphone with a stand would be nice. Not headphones though, they would be low quality junk and no way I would use those. T-shirt seems a bit pointless to me, are you actually going to wear that in public? Dogtags seem like a nice idea though.
strikeagle83 0 Posted November 13, 2006 plz make a star force free dvd
KimTuomi 0 Posted November 13, 2006 - Ammo-box is a must - BIG map is a requirement!! - T-shirt is nice and usable, although the size restrictions may apply... All those wrist watches, compasses, etc are probably cheap and completely useless memorabilia. Of course, if they are in I'm not complaining. But mostly I'd vote for some usable high quality stuff, not something useless crap. BIG MAP! I'm gonna frame it with glass on top of the surface so I can use those felt-tip, erasable whiteboard markers during LANs to draw tactical plans...

C4P741N 0 Posted November 13, 2006 I don't have any new ideas just agreeing/disagreeing with some. Agree - (in no particular order) 1. Metal Case (what about a replica of the default ammo crate in ArmA) 2. Dogtags x 2 (one ArmA stamped, the other blank) 3. HUGE map of Sahrani (to be framed above/behind my monitor) 4. Inert 50cal (ArmA stamped) 5. HUGE and meticulous editing manual (printed) 6. Military Guide for Sahrani (Covering all Blufor/Opfor/Resistance troops/vehicles/weapons) 7. No Starforce Disagree 1. No Caps, T-Shirts*, Glasses, Socks, Boxers, etc (No clothing! One size fits all my ass, I'm 27 and f@#king tiny) 2. No Compass, Binoculars, Watch, Knife, etc (Any items of this type would be of extremely low quality) 3. No headset/mic (for the same reason as above) Despite the fact I said no clothing I have long planned to get a t-shirt custom made with this exact quote. 1, A T-shirt with the logo "Oh No, 2, is down"
fullmetal69 0 Posted November 13, 2006 I am sorry for your A.. but any proposition as incredible .... low quality in shop compas was made in china for binocular I agree ! But a hemelt, vodka.., bullets, figure (bad quality) is too !! => real dream ... and more expensive.... For backpack is cool ... Socks is stupid idea "I run on Arma... sock" lol
-Hfr-Yomg 0 Posted November 13, 2006 I just want a box with an Arma DVD inside, as soon as possible
Callsign 128 Posted November 13, 2006 hmm given this a lot of thought and i wouldnt mind -armed assault and ammo tin -map of sahrani -poster/t shirt -dvd/cd tour of BIS and meet the team and see how arma was made -probably most important would be a step-by-step-how-to manual of editing (including script grammar and language) and modding, maybe getting the stars of the community to add their imput so that people with ideas, but not the know-how can at least try to input to the community! bootneckofficer
RangerX3X 0 Posted November 13, 2006 A brown paper bag as the box, and a manual on tissue paper; I don't care, as long as it is released in the United States.
VISTREL 0 Posted November 13, 2006 Plz include ""The Making of the Arma" in English version.
rundll.exe 12 Posted November 13, 2006 Yes a making of would be great, however that is kind of late. A video of the development of ArmA "inside BIS" would be cool, with all facilitys shown and good interviews with the staff. Oh and dont foget to laminate the map so we can write on it like a whiteboard as I said some pages back.
IC-Mixx 0 Posted November 13, 2006 Embossed Metal Case to protect the pack Large Map of Sahrani Island Amed Assault Military Marine style Cover (Cap) Armed Assault Jacket Patches (2) Armed assault Iron-on Shirt Transfer ( That way you can put it on a shirt that fits you) Mini penlight Torch Hard Card 3 Disc Billfold Disc slip case containing - Special Features disc with: >Concept work >History of ArmdA >Meet BIS >Videos >Tutorials, mission editing, object editing - Soundtrack disc - UP TO DATE VERSION of the game disk or the Original with the patches included. Military Stylised Game manual All of this would cost a packet BUT....people would pay for it Elitism sells.......
Kirby 2 Posted November 13, 2006 I'd pay for that! All the best ideas rolled into one, that post was :P
BBWONDER 0 Posted November 13, 2006 What I'd like to see: - Metal case - Military style service handbook / game manual - Large printed map - Teaser photo cards of the next OFP - USB wired flashing red 'Eject' button, also doubles as a button to launch the game from windows.
Mora2 0 Posted November 13, 2006 What I'd like to see:Contents: # Game CDs/DVD(s) packed neatly in hard cardboard foldable cover # Extensive manual with detailed unit pictures and desciptions # Detailed map of Sahrani (rolled up not folded) # Detailed keymap with game tips (for the new people) # Soundtrack (with bonus tracks?) Gadgets: # Spent .50 shell casing (in single chain link) with Armed Assault stamped on # Dogtags with Armed Assault stamped on Game: # No starforce. # No requirement to have the cd/dvd in the drive whilst playing, i'm happy with a serial for the game but modern pc games simply don't need cd/dvd checks. They're easilly bypassed with a no-cd crack and only punish the people who buy your game. And no more than 50Å / 500 Danish kt. / seconded Plus some cool compass or mini flashlight ( mag-lite type ) or something like that.
sasyboy 0 Posted November 13, 2006 ArmA Shoulder Patch That would be ace, I could sow it onto my motorbike cloths.
