dm 9 Posted November 17, 2006 Some of the last screens from BI showed units in tri-color BDU's, can anyone confirm that they are in/not in the final release please?
Heatseeker 0 Posted November 17, 2006 I think the tri colours were scraped. The south Sahrani look like reskined/edited US soldier models, they dont have much... personality, the flashpoint resistance were more versatile for mission editing imo (rebels). http://www.armedassault.com/shots/ArmA_148.jpg The textures , this is another of the old OPF buildings, fantastic rebuild i say. Correction 0 Posted November 17, 2006 Some of the last screens from BI showed units in tri-color BDU's, can anyone confirm that they are in/not in the final release please? The green guys are Northern Sahrani, the "chocolate chip" guys are Southern Sahrani, and the digital camo guys are the US. i like the medic shot, finally we can identify him. Heh, true, but so can the enemy.
KaiserPanda 0 Posted November 17, 2006 I like the North Saharni sniper in the second picture.
dm 9 Posted November 17, 2006 The green guys are Northern Sahrani, the "chocolate chip" guys are Southern Sahrani, and the digital camo guys are the US. Yes... I know THAT What I meant was, BI showed screens of guys in Tri-Color as WELL as the 6-Color (choc chip)
oneoff 0 Posted November 17, 2006 we have a broken arrow jesus come on bis ,is this how you really wanna introduce the release of arma ? is it complacency or bad pr ? or a bit of both ? the scope and gun have had an argument and fallen out ? stop relying on the community, we need a break after 4 years ,its our time to play some of your maps again

Shashman 0 Posted November 17, 2006 The PSO-1 sight is mounted to the side, and the mount is silver, which is why it's not evident in that picture, but look closely and you will see it /EDIT too slow
max power 21 Posted November 17, 2006 Procedure for whining: Step 1. Develop a flexible opinion on what seems to bother you. Step 2. Verify that your preconceptions are not misconceptions. Do a little research. Step 3. Ascertain whether or not this gripe you have was not made on purpose. Make sure there isn't a good reason to have things the way they are. Complaining that a soccerball prop is not the appropriate size down the the virtual micrometer and is not detailed enough to read the official blurb is probably going to go on deaf ears, as this is not a soccer simulator. Complaining that the helicopter flight model doesn't include an accurate equation for engine power versus air density by temperature and altitude probably also isn't helpful because this isn't a flight simulator. Step 4. Compose a thoughtful, respectful account of your feelings on the subject, and present the material you have found that supports your idea for review. Maybe, if the omission is glaring, the issue will be addressed in a patch, or maybe some mod maker will take pitty on you some day. All other a******s need to get f****d. Regards, Plaintiff One. Scrub 0 Posted November 17, 2006 @$&$@!(~!!! I am in AWE of that picture (even thought the scope is broken ) Look at the details in the distance, the color levels, the haze.. Just - the clutter of stuff! I can't wait to come under fire, take cover behind one of those tables and get holed because I forgot about penetration. (or be sad that I was saved by Kevlar umbrellas )
