Hi all,

This is the first video ive made for armed assault,with a twist

I know its sloppy in places but that can get better as i improve the movie making skills & scripting....it must be a black art thing

All comments welcome good or bad,i could sure do with some tips right now,not a patch on some of the videos ive seen in here,great stuff-it spurred me on to make this one.Enjoy

Sorry for offtopic, but I would like to see something similar like this: http://www.videosift.com/story.php?id=3398 with ArmA.

Unfortunately in ArmA we can`t do this strange jumping and don`t have those gay animations.

I made into my pants while watching this.

generally a nice approach but respect a simple rule in movie making: The object moves, not the camera, especially not with those fast, sudden movements as you did. I became sea-sick while watching.

If the camera needs to move, then in a slow, steady movement predictable by human brain.

I try and remember that, also when I watch other movies (you guys) I am looking your camera shots too. I am trying learn about camera Scripting as well.

A test flight using TR tracker I got a day ago.

nice one

now try to place some virtual cams short behind hilltops or targets and cut in those scenes. It is spectacular if you fly a few meters over a hilltop and the cam is sharp behind and follows the copter a few seconds. Or if you fire on a target, cut in the impact catched by the cam at target.

No, he's not. It was an amusing coincidence to me (he showed up in our group shortly after I heard that the ACE team was called "Catch 22"), but nothing more.
