Resistance side In ArmA

So i didnt found the answer to my question so i decided to make a topic about it.

In OFP there's four playable sides Civilian , Resistance , West and East.

What about ArmA? Will there be Resistance side/units in it?

In the pics from arma i can only see civs , and west/east units.

Or are the guys from BIS planning to make an X-pack for arma which includes the Resistance side/units?

Aussies? No, they used an Australian car a while ago as a placeholder for something else, but they never said that there would be Australians in the game?

They did use the Australian flag to represent Guer in the MP loby, but that was ages ago.

If you would have read a bit you would have known..

The US are there to train the the south Sara's as 'positive propaganda', just to show that the US isn't that bad, and as a bonus it would enhance the stability on the island, but just when the US forces are done and leaving the island is noth sara's attack the south and the few remaining US soldiers there...

From my speculation there was 'resistance' in OFP because the islands being captured had no military. That's not the case here, this is a proper government with proper military so there is less need for 'resistance' forces.

Don't quote me though.. it's possible there might be.

Id like to get an answer on this as well, now that the game is officially out, people out here must know if there is a 'resistance' side, that is, there is a 'resistance' side selectable while making missions. For me, this is a hugely important question as the mission Ive spent some time on will prolly be ported over, and the scripts do use resistance side checks, so Id greatly appreciate this info.

For the record,the North Sahrani's are not Russian but instead soldiers of a communist government,not ever communist is a Russian,look at China,north Korea,etc.

North and South Sahrani had been on bad terms from the beginning,the two sides not quite agreeing and whatnot,the north see's a chance to invade the south once the US has left and take it.

I don't think that the Northern Sarahni Army is the resistence force. In ofp, the res could side with either army. Having a professional army fill the role of a terrorist / partisan / rebel / marquis organization is kind of stupid. I'm not sure that the political environment in Sarahni necessarily leads itself to terrorism or freedom fighting, considering that it's not being occupied. If the populations of the north were objecting to the American military presence there, perhaps you would see some of that. I speculate that, for now, Armed Assault has a more straightforward dynamic.

Did CWC originally have a small amount of soldiers and Res added alot more or did Armed Assault just originally have less? I wouldn't know as when I acquired OFP it was GOTY.

Or are those the basics? Wondering because I remember the SF having packs and silenced M4's and I noticed no silenced weapons in anything other than the North,so do the north also have a small amount of soldier types? I mean soldiers with different weapons,and does the south no longer use things such as PKM's or other Russian type equipment?

Offtopic:

You're forgetting that almost half of your armed forces vehicles are American made, thats including your main battle tank and main fighter jet. Let's not forget the annual joint excersises you guys have with us.
