I voted COOP but I really want Dynamic COOP campaigns with JIP. wow_o.gif

Im all for RPG and 'alternative' or 'unsuall out the ordinary' missions biggrin_o.gif Plus with addons being backwards compatible looks like ill be useing the unified Zombie mod some more wink_o.gif

Althou i always like the old games of CTI,CTF and C&H.

Never had the opertunity to play a A&D map though, never seen any thing else being played on servers apart from CTI and the occasinoal CTF and thats it. Is there somthing im missing here crazy_o.gif

I think as ofp is meant to be played as team, and the realistic way.

About the modes, ctf and deadmatch it will just turn ofp like i did for sometime into a frags counter game (like cs or other game).

Coop is the mod that is meant to ofp. But some new concepts of coop should be made, like coop human vs coop human.

Also would be nice to see some new realistic mods.

in my opinion the COOP mode and mapeditor is what made ofp so special.

Better AI and more AI Units in mp for better COOPS, thats all i want for the game formerly known as operation flashpoint

I think BIS allready did a great job with ofp, obviously these guys knew what we wanted, why should that have changed? I will wait and see and wil be surprised like last time i bought a BIS product.

100% co~op here. Never been a real fan of deathmatches, feels too "shoot em up" for me...I prefer realistic missions with objectives. wink_o.gif

i would love to play coop missions in big dynamic battlefield operations, more like beeing a small wheel in a big operation, so that the outcome of war doesnt depent on the players actions, but merely help to fullfill this goal, but i am afraid that this wish will not be met with AA yet (but OFP2 has dynamic campaigns, i hope those will be playable in COOP)

its looks like BIS need to work-up the other maps!(coop just work fine wink_o.gif ) I still wonder how many ppl like coop!? wow_o.gif i know now why on CTI maps are just 8 ppl! crazy_o.gif but i love CTI! tounge_o.gif

Capture the flag and Capture and hold are the main type of game i like to play but I do play the others just no where near the amount i play CTF and C&H.

I'm a coop player but when i want to play adversial then i go for rts, cnc, rws.

I also like long patrol missions with lot of hiden objectives and all full scale ops missions.

For short missions the option lie into anti-tankers ops mostly an infantry squad that is deployed using group of 2 or 3 guys that each team take differents target located at some dispersed spots with hiden objectives.

Mission with infiltrations in an highly guarded enemy zones with tons of reinforcements and those multiple assinations and rescues that require synchronization between many teams.

Also Timed Non-Combattant Evacuation Operations with random attack from small group of enemies while having a countdown and larger groups aproaching, until the enemy engage in a full scale operation.

These are what i like to see and would like in Armed Assault.

Cooperative missions are what OFP was made for, IMO. And coop where you have two human teams working against each other... whatever that is called. I used to like CTI, but it bores me now, because it spans the whole island, yet there are only a dozen or so players total. That = not much action.

Personally I'm a big fan of capture and hold maps. Coming in second would probably be cooperative, then maybe CTI.

I see thousands (...) of votes for coop, but if I look up the Servers in OFP (central Europe), there's 60% DM/TDM, 20% CTI, 15% Coop and 5% RPG....

On forums you get the good players, with knowledge. On servers, its full of deathmathers. lol

I don't play on the internet at all.

I play co-op on my lan.

When Flashpoint came out, the intenet was still expensive. My monthly phone bill for Diablo was Å400. I worked out it was cheaper just to buy an extra computer every month.

I rarely play pvp on lan.

Online it is different you can easily find players to match your ability. If they are too rubbish or too good for you and the game becomes boring you simply switch servers.

but on lan that means some of the people in the room with you aren't going to enjoy the game.

So co-op is the only multiplayer game type that is social enough for me. Stronger players support weaker players, instead of just ending their game as soon as possible.
