Please avoid using short forms of words e.g. "m8" instead of mate, "u r" instead of you are or your, it may seem attractive to type in such a "shorthand" manner but remember that there are many people on the forums who do not have English as a first language, so it is disrespectful to use bad English simply for the sake of laziness. (Obviously there are common shortenings of words that have been used for many years on the internet that continue to be acceptable, e.g. LMAO, LOL, FYI etc.)

The AMX 10 RC has several problems (the biggest one is a buggy LOD making the AMX 10 RC mostly invincible, as projectiles will go through it most of the time without damaging it).

If you can read the french this thread will give you more infos.

Fortunately the OFrP developers are aware of those problems, so there will certainly be an update of this pack to correct this problem in the future , as they have already fixed this bug.

(and i hope they will change the very laggy smoke system of the Leclerc)

These units are superb, my only concern is a slight lag experienced with the LeClerc and both AMX 10s.

Also there isnt much functionality in the 120mm and 81mm LB mortars as far as I can see. Particularly dissapointing with the 120mm devastating as it is IRL.

english is not my mothertongue too, but i anyway speak only english here, so i'd be in a kind of misery as you are. but anyway, good decision to speak only english

and if you want to speak french you can do it at the frenchpoint forums, i guess they are anway more often over there

edit: the reason why everyone has to stick to the english language is because otherwise you'd have a variety of different languages here, and so for example bugs would be reported three or four times cause no one knows what has been said till now

Very nice pack, been using it alot.

I was playing with my ofp squad last night with them though, and it was crashing the server and everyone on it to desktop. It happened a few times, and we can't work out what it was. It was either someone picking something up, or someone getting into something we think, but been unable to recreate it in SP mode, and didn't want to keep crashing whilst playing MP. Anyone else had a similar problem? We were using FDF mod, but pretty sure it was OFrP stuff as nothing else around, BUT it may be OFrP stuff conflictign with FDF somehow?? It came up with an error message ingame saying '.model special' or some such just before it crashed us all. Neverh ad it before when playing with the units.

Also, the HOT missile on Gazelle doesn't home in on a locked unit in FDF mod?! Strange.

SandVoss worked it out on Fudge's server earlier, mate.

What we found happened was that whenever we hopped into any light vehicle, we took it across the head. Only happened on the Nogovan mission though, since the Afghan ones were fine. The small French jeep with the ANF-1 MMG on the roll-bar, that's the one that causes the problems.

Though chances are anything else that's armed would give us the same error. More tests are required. And since that mission requires FDFmod as an integral part, it'd be 'kinda hard' to test without it. Although it could be done.

Seems that the FAMAS G2 (I don't know if I'm using the correct designation, the one that chambers the STANAG 30rnd magazines.) is only 1/3rd textures or so. Ejection port, and the aft portion of the stock. The rest of it is a lovely shade of what I like to call "O2 Grey." The marksman weapons don't look too hot compared to the rest of the weapons either, and the sidearms seem to have way too much kick for what they're chambered in, but overall, excellent piece of work here.

Interesting use of the "Spandoflage" masks to replace my beloved Shemaughs on the Desert Commandos.

I dont seem to have any missing textures on the famas g2,

I can't be 100% sure as being part of the team i have some weirdly customized with "in progress" work installed. So, i have asked one of our usual beta testers to check on this G2.

In the meantime, are you sure you have all the most up to date versions installed, including ofrp_armes ?

For the crash on your servers could it be that some users have not updated and are causing the crashes (unfortunately un-matching versions can cause server crashes, not only with OFrP)? any specific messages to specific players only ?...

Also if the above doesnt help, make sure you dont have double occurences of some of the ofrp pbo's (in different active mods).

I think there once was an addon by remo (legion?) that was not compatible with OFrP... just in case.
