Great trenches, I was right to postpone a WW2 FDF mission until the release...my fake trenches and korsus made out of BIS base walls lowered into the ground pale in comparison.

I dont know exactly what he mentioned... But I have a problem with the joystick and some planes like the Hawk also that have a much to high roll rate and therefor are allmost uncontrolable in ofp.

But I dont know if he ment this though!

Exactly that. I hardly manage NOT to crash a Mig-21, since when you just pull the joystick a SLIGHT BIT to the left you're already doing two rolls. Also with the mouse it's uncontrollable to steer IMO, I very seldom meet people that manage NOT to crash it. The Drakhen for example has a much better handling.

This would belong to the real 1.3 topic, but anyway:

All planes in FDFMOD, and also in WW2 expansion, are mainly made for mouse&keyboard controlling and that's it. And no, we will not make them for "optimized" for joysticks, I don't even have a joystick. And for MIG, blaim Kege, which I think doesn't help much.

Jup I discussed the Mig21 thing with Kege long time ago and I am sorry to say I could not make him change his mind.

So things stay as they are: the mod is one of the best ground unit mods with some of the best looking planes (very good selection too) but for flight sim freaks they are unplayable... (you can not force us to use the mouse)

I think it is a shame because it is taking a OFP feature away (which is not a nice thing to do)

I still look forward to see this mod!
