Sorry Nemesis, but that should be Hevron (if you speak hebrew you should know why Bet letter is spoken as V here), as this city is named not Hebron.

It doesnt matter. I dont care if people who cant speak hebrew copy spelling error all the time. The same goes to Avraham which is commonly written as Abraham. In hebrew it is clear that city of our fathers, is named Hevron.

Its still mistake. I told you there are a lot of speling mistakes done by poor translators. Hevron is ancient Biblical city founded by Avraham. There are buried Patriarchs of jewish nation, Avraham, Icchak and Yaakov as well as Matriachs Sara, Rebeca, and Leah. I supose speling error came into the west through greek translation. If you translate transladed text to another language then errors are inevitable. But despite that today with todays knowlege even english name should be exact as it is not name with spelling error.

To admins, sorry for OT. Just move posts about Hevron to other topic or remove them if you wish.
