I also use all of the other addons. They are also extremely good. LSR's rangers are very good and I use those on Tonal a lot. It's almost not fair to force people to make a choise at this poll

Hmm,

I like the SF from HYK. The Rangers by LSR are also great. But I am missing a Ranger Sniper who is not covered with leaves etc.

I would need a Ranger sniper who is like all Assault Rangers the differenc should be only the Bonnie hat instead of helmet.

All of the above listed addons are excellent, but I think the selection of the soldier to be used just depends on the mission being made and the role of the unit. When I design missions, I select a unit that best fits the role and period of the mission. So because of that, it's hard for me to say which I like best without know more of the situation it will be used.

But if I had to choose which unit I like overall the most, I would have to say the BAS Deltas. All the rest are pretty sweet too. Kind of like asking which is better, Ferrari or Lamborghini

I agree...sometimes its a really tough choice deciding which US infantry units to use in a mission.   Usually however I end up using BAS units simply because they are integrated into their excellent helicopters and I don't like using a whole bunch of different addons in missions because then nobody plays the mission cuz they don't want to download a bunch of addons or add stuff they don't like into their mod folders just to play one mission.   So I try to keep extra addons to a minimum.

That's one reason why I love DKM/VIT's APC pack. It has good Russian and Chechnyan soldiers and has good armor, MG's and ATGM's...basically most of what I need for most Russian missions.

By the way Deltas ... what exactly are Deltas. 1st Special Operation Detachment.

I like the BAS Deltas, but still, i hate those über-"cool"-custom-M4:s (though the one with the underslung shotgun is kinda useful) so my vote goes for HYK:s grunts. I just hate every Colt exept for the long ones.

HYK's are perfect.... they are.. everyone makes a big deal about changing stuff on the bas rangers and things.. no one would change anything on HYK regular soldiers...

And the CQB SF is my favorite unit... HYK shoulda did more with them.. make a medic for it and one with Radio's and demolition type guys.

DDAM's Danish Infantry by Frandsen and co. They're widely underrated IMO but I really like the pack.

So far as US troops go, I reckon Hyakushiki's are the best by a good margin at the moment, but Laser's upcoming improvements on his Rangers/Deltas look set to put them on equal terms.

They are the ones whose textures and gear i like the most but they could go with new boots, hands and the boonie hat looks a bit too cowboy, I think for me its a tie betwean Hyk's SF and Suchey's marines for diferent reasons.

The hard part is to find terrorists and opfor that matches the quality and doesnt make them both look like units from diferent games .

me bas deltas, weapons are abit out of shape but desert textures are real co0l , also i like the tact vest, makes them look bulkier like in rl. less lag also in great numbers

then it would be hyk sf and laser delta, but the update of laser delta might take over bas delta in my choice

suchey marines textures are great but the soldier models lack bulkiness of vests.
