hellfish6 7 Posted March 11, 2004 Bn880 - I thought I'd played every wargame ever made (except Patriot, which I've heard nothing but bad things about). I have no idea what game that is. Fess up!
hellfish6 7 Posted March 11, 2004 Oh, wait, is it F-22 Air Dominance Fighter or something like that?
bn880 5 Posted March 11, 2004 Getting close! Wait I'll get some other capture, it's hard to find since it was made in 1993 This one is deceptive since it's not identical to original release colors. Kind of an addon pack on top of it. Another major hint http://www.migman.com/1990_combat.htm
JGreyNemo 0 Posted March 11, 2004 @Korax The first one is "One Must Fall" -> which never ran properly on my Pentium 100mhz comp. Â Stupid himemory. It could however, run the most legendary game I have ever owned besides OFP... Â I only stopped playing it after OFP came out. Â I only switched to OFP only after realising it had a mission-maker as extensive and intricate as this game had. Even then I wish they would incorporate its aircraft flight-model/physics/interface into OFP, which incidently was perfect in its mix of gameplay/realism. SpongeBob 0 Posted March 11, 2004 Tex gets a free imaginary drink on me, unless you cheated of course. No wonder I didn't now which Jane's game it was, since I did buy that game, but I could only play maybe 5 minutes before the thing crashed me to desktop. Then a patch came out and I couldn't even start the game.

der bastler 0 Posted March 11, 2004 http://www.thecomputershow.com/computershow/graphics/usnf17.gif U.S. Navy Fighters? By Electronic Arts, got 85% in PC Player 1/95... (I love my computer magazine library!) The third one , on the Atari ST , a well known title that had a great success on Amiga 500 too. A great game that had its sequel some time after.http://membres.lycos.fr/magistratethe/ATST.gif That's Rick Dangerous. I still play the sequel --Rick Dangerous 2-- under linux. It's called XRick: http://www.bigorno.net/xrick/ Next riddle: What's the name of this game? Hint: "Ah! Sticky bomb likin you!"

IceFire 0 Posted March 11, 2004 Hey that's Shadow Warrior! That's a new game I just got into like 6 months ago. It's a cool game about ninjas that takes place in Ancient Japan. It's a great game with an excellent immersive environment. It deals heavily in the ancient mystic ways of the ninja in japan. You fight on mountain peaks, and down into dark forests. IceFire 0 Posted March 11, 2004 Speaking of ninjas, here is a cool website about them. I don't think it's that accurate but it has cool music though. http://www.realultimatepower.net/
joltan 0 Posted March 11, 2004 What about Rise of the triad? First FPS where glas windows could be shattered - apart from that it was not a very remarkable game. And yeah, the Commander Keen series was great on my old XT.
Spy17 1 Posted March 11, 2004 MOD ThemeNobody has any clue as to my games? Here is a pic of this one, now you have the music and the capture, come on, nobody played this? It's a great game with an excellent immersive environment. It deals heavily in the ancient mystic ways of the ninja in japan. You fight on mountain peaks, and down into dark forests. Shadow Warrior is older (1996?), but funny. As I mentioned: "Sticky bomb likin you!". Sticky bombs, that were small grenades with spikes. You could throw them at the enemy, they got stuck, enemy was running around and then... Bootz! *splatter* Or (second pic) you could take an enemy's heart. And your alter ego commented the action with very cool sound bites... Trash but funny. And Rise of the Triad... since I didn't have a modem back then (1994?) I went to a nearby backyard computer store to get a copy (shareware version) on four 3.5" floppy disks. RotT was the first real 3D game i.e. you could stand above objects! Doom 1 and 2 were only 2.5D games because the maps they used were only two-dimensional. And: RotT invented the flamethrower, burning enemies to ashes (you could see the skeleton falling to ashes). Besides these features it was... hmm... a 08/15 shoot'em-up game. @JAP: Do you mean this website?
Guest Hitman[SWAF] Posted March 11, 2004 Does anyone remember a game called commander keen? What about Rise of the triad? Which commander keen? I think there were 6 of them. Now ROTT, or Rise of the Triad. That was a classic game. The first one where you could have two pistols at once.
