@Nilz

We found problem which caused bugs in campaign missions in 2.01. Missions are ok, but there are small bug in UPI sad_o.gif

If any member of player's team don't have magazines (I'm out of ammo message) at the end of missions then UPI don't save weapon and unit pools correctly and all next missions are unplayable sad_o.gif

We are working on next quick update which solve that problem...

We have our own hires sky textures... we will add them in some patch...

In the mission "Priority Monitoring" where you have to steal a soviet radio and blow up the radio mast, how do you destroy that radio mast? I've placed all six satchels on it (mine and the soldier's in my squad) and that doesn't destroy it. I've destroyed the ammo crates and the tents too, but I don't get an objective complete on that.

Am I missing some good ammo somwhere in that camp?

It is a little problem with that.

That radio mast can be destroyed with only one satchel, but this satchel you must put on the top of that radio mast wink_o.gif

D'OH.

I tried climbing the ladder on it, but got no option to "climb ladder up".

Maybe when I blew up those satchels on the ground it damaged it. I will try again tonight.

Great campaign so far!

First of all, great job guys! I love new units and the campaign is amazing.

The only thing I was curious about is that Kegety's high res skies don't work with the mod, I added the thing to the path of the shortcut but the original OFP skies remain.

The high res skies work with FDF and other mods... Is there any way to fix this?

I've been having a problem with CSLA that became noticeable on the Capture the sub expert mission, and might be crashing me in the protect convoy mission (right after the ambush the soviet convoy with spare parts mission).

Whenever I start a mission, I get a "No Entry Config.bin" error message and units 4 and 6 in my group show as corpses on the ground. However, they are alive and respond when I ask them to report in. I can shoot their bodies and it doesn't kill them. In the capture the sub expert mission, the first few times I played it, the sniper in my group #2 showed as a healthy corpse on the ground. I had the same issues, but after restarting it a couple of times, he was alive and well.

Anyway, when the convoy starts to go up the hill in the town, they get shot at, and if the truck with infantry in it gets hit, my game crashes. Also #4 and #6 in my group are in that corpselike state.

I have been using CSLA 2.01 update, so I did a fresh install of the regular CSLA, but got the same No entry config.bin errors. I am only running the CSLA addons, and my Res\addons and OFP\addons folders are clean with only original addons.

Only 1 time did I get to the point where the BMP's came, but they seemed to materialize near the town, and my satchels were down the road a ways. I can't complete this mission with the crashing.

Any ideas?

If yes, then we know about it and it will be fixed in next patch. It is small bug in name of magazine.

2. If you have wounded soldiers at the end of missions then they are wounded in next mission too.

Problem with dead soldiers is caused when your soldiers are dead in mission, but engine "don't know" that they are dead....

I recommend to give order "ALL > Report Status" using command menu at the end of the mission.

Sorry for delaying next patch, but our campaign leader is on bussiness trip sad_o.gif

All of my soldiers from the previous mission except for the Black Ops were killed. That was the convoy mission.

At the beginning of the Protect Convoy mission, two soldiers look like they are dead, but they are not. I can have them report status, and they say they are ok, but I look at them and they look like corpses on the ground.

I can shoot them or blow them up, and then when I ask them to report status, they are still alive. It is very strange.

That may not be why the mission crashes though.

vehicle explossions, guys might wanna tweak it slightly. was using the BMX bike and actually got it to catch fire a few times. Sometimes when a unit explodes it wipes out other heathy units. Or crews too dumb to run away from the wreckage. Some vehicles have large overly large blast radius when they explode. Watching armor take a hit while being dissmounted infantry standing about 50 meters, then killed by the blast created when the vehicle explodes. Could see that happening if you had a full ammo cook off and it a ruassian tank and your struck by the falling turret. Would take something like a Javalin ATGM to cause that big of a secondary explossion. Find driving faster lessons combat losses of that type. But might be a little on the extreame side, closer to Hollywood movie levels. Just kinda Animie rules if something its hit with enough force it will explode.

before you nail me I'll tell you that I didn't have the balls to scan all the 30+ pages of this thread so if someone's been here before me with the same problem so be it I'll shoot it out anyway.

I have some problems with cutscenes. some (actually too many) of them don't end at all. the first video with the plane flying above Nogova and the cool song in the background got to a situation where the music has ended and the plane just flies above the sea. nothing happens I just hear the engine's noise and all that. I've waited a few mins and wished an ending for the cutscenes but no. I hate to end them manually because then I'll miss some of the next ones.

anyway I'd like to thank the crew for another excellent MOD. the voice acting is great though I don't understand a word biggrin_o.gif

I've read the thread and seen the screens and it all looks good but 200+ megs is alot for my 56k to handle crazy_o.gif the new bmp's and the rest are just to good to pass up is there any chance you could make a russain mini mod with the new bmp's, uaz's etc. I for one would be very grateful as I am sure many others would be.

Well for one thing being one of the Russain mod guys if you wanting just the russain hardwear wait for the many Russain themed mod teams to release the addons seperate. CLSA didn't make a Russain mod they made a CLSA MOD with Russain hardwear included. I could see if they made a Russain mod, As for being on 56 K I'm sure you can ask around nicely to have the MOD burned to CD and mailed to you from one of the fast connect guys, Sure Bobby or Maa might even beable to do that if you offered to cover the cost of the CD and postage. The Mod IMO is worth the download and playing.

I haven't installed CSLA Mod yet but I'm just wondering, are all ladders in OFP climbable? I got back into OFP a few weeks ago and I was able to climb a ladder ok but since then I don't get the option to climb when I walk up to a ladder. I just assumed that some ladders must be unclimbable on purpose but your post has got me wondering. I'll try different ladders again when I get home from work.

Just use a download manager (I use Flashget) and download at night when you go to sleep. I've been able to download nearly 1gig of addons in just a week by leaving it downloading at night.

We try to make small PBO which allow use all CSLA II MOD units separately from MOD... as normal addons. But it takes some time (few weeks) bacause I'm very busy in personal life now sad_o.gif

I understand that this wasn't meant to be a Russian mod and its not impossible for me to download it, although I do only want the Russian kit I have nothing against the CSLA but I only tend to use Russian/American add-ons boring I know. I read that it was hard to mix the CSLA stuff with others addons because of the way there configed to work well with each other and not with BIS gear etc.. It just seemed a shame since they look to be excellent add-ons that they cant be used in other missions, I do understand the work involved makeing a mod like this so I don't expect anything but it would be nice biggrin_o.gif

Like I wrote in previous post, we will create patch which make all units from CSLA MOD usable as normal addons... they will use standard BIS weapons, armour values...etc and they could be combinated with another MODs or addons.

But write new config for that take some time and I'm busy now ... sad_o.gif

It is hard to rip-off only all russian units to separate PBOs because they are sharing some parts with CSLA units. So even if you want use some units separately from CSLA MOD you will need all original CSLA 2 MOD files.

First I didn't have the patch installed but installing it didn't help. I'm not sure if running it with OFP ver 1.96 has something to do with it. I'm sure you guys have tested everything thousand times so the problem shouldn't be buggy triggers.

There are many fixes and doubled contitions in triggers in patch 2.01 so i think that it helps...
