The Frenchman 0 Posted January 1, 2004 Hmm what am I to do in the next 35 minutes? I know! I will engage in a Fragfest on Blood Gulch(HALO) and when the ball drops run outside with a Russian Ushanka and a trumpet and play until my throat closes because of being sore. PS: Yes that is my arm in the picture.

denoir 0 Posted January 1, 2004 It's the morning after, 10:30 1/1. Just woke up and made a big effort to reach my laptop lying on the floor on a pile of old socks and underware. Hmm..wtf is it doing there.. bwah, who cares. I think I have a horrible hang-over. I don't know for sure though. I'm still horizontal. God Bless Wireless Networking. Fairly good night yesterday. Spent it with a few good friends (eight of us). We spent the evening eating, drinking and discussing deep philosophical questions. Did you know that there are three general types of beef? Something like baby-beef, young beef and regular beef. Actually regular beef is young beef since you don't really eat real beef as the cow is too old. Well, you catch my drift. I ended up in bed with my former girlfriend, not necessarily a good thing as we're very good friends these days. I think it's her in the kitchen that I hear. Oh God, please make her make  coffee for me and I promise that I'll become a nun and devote my life to protecting idiots and small animals (crossed fingers). Bleh. I fear getting vertical. Damn, "Low power" warning. Hmm, the charger is on the other side of the room, damn. Ok, I better post this before the battery dies. May the new year be less messy than the first day of it. Happy New Year!
Balschoiw 0 Posted January 1, 2004 Happy new year ! Oh...my head is very big today. Still can´t report the last evening in full detail. Looks like I have minor brain malfunctions and did some time travels because certain parts of the evening are missing. Especially the part from 3 - ? in the morning. Anyway it´s funny that our talks went similar denoir. Quote[/b] ]Did you know that there are three general types of beef? Something like baby-beef, young beef and regular beef. Actually regular beef is young beef since you don't really eat real beef as the cow is too old. Did you know that there are japanese or chinese ? farmers who feed their cattle with beer, massage them and sell the flesh for 200 Euro per kilo. A complete cow make 200 000 Euro for the owner. No joke. The flesh is said to be fantastic. It´s the Kobe cattle I´m talking about. Well besides that talking about special cattle in Japan we must have talked about more things but my brain firewall has somehow crashed I guess. The kobe cattle story uncut Ok I´ll have to sort some things like: Who will clean up ? Where is everyone ? (Have guests but they are still lost in bed) Why do I move around in the house like an old grandpa ? Still lost in 2004. Same as 2003. Makes me confident for a great year. Cheerio Miss Sofie ! Pipski 0 Posted January 1, 2004 Oh great. 2004 seems to have begun with some kind of tornado knocking over the bins and spraying garbage all over the garden. And a rainstorm. So now I have to master my hangover sufficient to chase bits of wet refuse all over the parish. Which is, in many ways, an appropriate metaphor for much of my life. The good thing is that from such an inauspicious beginning, 2004 won't have to do much to get a lot better!
ozanzac 0 Posted January 1, 2004 The new year is one day, 45 mins old here. I couldn't have the big night I had planned. Had to look after man's best freind for 12 and a half years. She probably barked her last bark at fireworks last night. Poor thing has days or weeks to live, so we took her back from the vet to spend some real quality time with her at home, pampering her like she has never been pampered before ( Well, she never has, she was a working dog). Before she was flat, but since coming home she has livened up remarkably. Happy times, but sadening at the same time, but probably the most memorable new years eve I've ever and will ever have. Here's to you Jessie. Next year I'll be drinking to you and the memories we share.
