Ok, I have this error message sometime...

Can not load texture SIG_T64b\barrelnu.paa

I have the same when I try to launch the game from the editor, with T64 on the terrain smile_o.gif

it just appears once, and then I can launch without error anymore.

I don't know if it has already been said, but I have another error message when I load your island in the editor :

this two things aren't important as I can play without problem for the moment. I didn't view any missing texture ingame smile_o.gif

- which tank(s) makes that error message

- what version of OFP exactly do you use (ver. number + language)

- when exactly does that message occure

I just noticed in the editor under "empty", "RHS Export" and "RHS Export (Desert)" the units apear twice, like ex: Two T55 enigma, two T55A and two Type 69-2. Not a problem really has i cant have enough playing with these babys, just thought id let you know.

And i enjoyed the T55 RHS Demo mission alot, great mission layout, objectives, cutscenes, etc. And to think i used to hate the BIS tank missions, please say there will be more smile_o.gif .

lou all, nice to see extensive bugreports, we'll be sure to fix em up for next updates.

to comment on the double tanks:

this is delibirate, since we were debating where to have the export tanks, East or Resistance, to simulate better conflicts, we decided to put them in both (thats y u can find RHS Export in both) and when you want to put an Empty tank the folders join, thus creating a double tank.

So im not alone on this, already discribed how i reproduced this ctd few pages back, two tanks close to each other+all crew members disembarking at the same time= CTD. My guess is it is related to the disembarking sound? Hope you guys look into this. Happens on the T55 pack running on 1.94b english version. It also happened one time in the midle of a big fight with some M60s and bailed out sad_o.gif .

Good job RHS, I have been waiting for this pack for a while (especially the desert versions).  I noticed that you even included details like the Yangzhou LRF on the Type 69-II and a repositioned ZIP box on the Enigma T55.

Please do not take this the wrong way, but I noticed that your Type 69-II is missing some features that distinguish a Type 69-II from a T54/T55.  One of those features is on the rear of the hull.  Instead of the back end appearing like a T54/T55 series tank it should appear more like a T62 with an elliptical bulge on the right side for a larger cooling fan.  Please refer to this picture of an Iraqi Type 69-II that has been uparmored and put on display in Baghdad in 1989: example

Also, Type 69-IIs are commonly spotted with a steel tread plate material formed over each pair of headlights.

Problem -

When using some of the T64s, an error, Cannot find blah blah blah sig_t64/barrel.paa and the mission will not run. sad_o.gif

It seems to be the regular T64s and T64 Navals. Any variants work.

Now that you finally released this T55 pack all I can say is that it sucked big time!

Just kidding the tanks were finest peace of russian hardware in OFP ever. biggrin_o.gif

Cant wait to have those other tank packs if they are nearly as good quality as this. No reason to doubt they arent though. wink_o.gif

Found a bug while taking pics for G00b here biggrin_o.gif

The enigma has invisible cargo holds meaning if you have guys sitting on it you cant see them so far i only saw this on the desert Enigma wink_o.gif

No message, just a normal ctd. Place two tanks in the editor and order tank 2 to move to a position close to you, then from comander view highlight all soldiers and order them to disembark and puff, there goes OPF. I ctd, it cant be just me right? I usually never get ctds with OPF biggrin_o.gif  sad_o.gif ...

edit: Btw, yer pics are truly awsome acecombat wink_o.gif .

The pack were done in such a way that if script and config bugs are found we can easily update without major download (100~200kb max) due to config and scripts being in a seperate pbo, so as soon as we have all (are at least as many as we can) of the bugs mentioned, we'll release a hotfix for the current version. Whenever we get enough new material to make an official update we will do a majour one.

About the tank riders:

we were the first to go deep intothis so it was kinda unexplored teritory and we encounetered many many problems with the scripts but mainly due to the OFP engine being the way it is, so if in some instance the script doesnt work the way u want it to work it maybe not our fault in the end. We will be having major discussions with the team weither it is wise to continue using this method for future tank releases.

I always otherwise end up d/lding one addon 3 times becoz off one stupid bug.

hmm i just went testing and tried it at least 7 times, i have absolutely no problems sad_o.gif. It is unfortunately imposible for us to get rid of a bug that we cant observe and test on sad_o.gif

Btw a question for RHS i use ECP mod will it over ride your default explosions and stuff?

We have tested t55 and t64 in a cti round today.

The PC of a player freezes when his T55 explodes and I got a CTD when my T55M2 was hit by a Kiowa Warriors Hellfire.

It only happen when the tank is completly destroyed.

@ace: yes, ecp will overwrite it, we used extra scripts. you can switch our smoke scripts off with

RHS_SmokeOff = true

the update for t-64s will be bigger cos of the texture bug. crew and weap will get bigger updates, too. ghostface.gif

Damn i thought your vehicles would over write their effects on ECP.

Anychance of a small code which i could write in ECP;s settings like BAS's birds which still retain their explosions because their class has been removed/mentioned in the settings specifically.

Sorry if i sound confusing not too much of a scripting guy smile_o.gif
