I have the feeling there are too many menus. I know that the list will grow with the T72's, T80's and what else will come but still I think it's overkill as it is now.And then a request for the Weapons. Could you make it possible to add standart BIS AK-74/47 Mags to your weapons please? I mean just make it possible to add those mags. You don't have to add them to your units. Why I want this? Because with Mods like FDF mod your Magazines are quite unbalanced. I would like to add standart AK47/74 mags to make it balanced with FDF mod when I use your units there. What do other people think? FDF has many units in one menu too and it's good that way IMHO. Okay, now to clear up the situation and explain it carefully: First of all, I understand that some of you may be already find it weird, that we have 6 folders, and 1-5 tanks in each, That really looks weird, when you have more categories than tanks in them. BUT what you don't realise is that it is just the beginning. After few next releases, this folders will grow up rapidly inside. Each category may have around 20-30 units or even more after all tankpacks will be released. And there will be more packs. Then it will be really easier to find one tank within 6 categories > 30 vehicles, than 1 category > 180 vehicles... To finalise this dispute: We, RHS, are same gamers as you are. We have spent a lot of analysing work just to make sure that folders work best way. Over 40 peoples were commenting this issue and inputing their own ideas, and what has been decided is a compilation of quite representative statistic group. Of course I know that there must be some people that will dislike the decision because there are too much folders. But it is same sure, that there are (or more surely will) be people who will say that there should be more folders than it is now. The tank crews - there are two guys, a "Sovjet Tank Crew" and a "Tank Crew" for both the winter and normal category. They are exactly the same, and how can one of them be a "Sovjet" (spelled wrong, supposed to be Soviet in English) when they both have the Russian Federation flag on their arms? Something you missed? 2. Also with the crews - I'm on shaky ground here, but is it really plausible for modern day RF tankers to crew 50 year old T-55s? Even if it is, a Soviet tank crew would be good as default for them. Just a suggestion. 3. Machineguns - Not too sure about this, but can a tank IRL fire 2000 rounds from a PKT in a ROW? As it is now, you don't have to reload at all. Even if it is fed from just one huge-ass belt in real life, the PKT has got to overheat if you fire it for so long? Or not? That's all for now. Thanks for the great tanks. Keep using cargo proxies, they look great and are very useful! 1. As explained on the forum, they are temporary placeholders, awaiting for exchange in future release. We needed placeholders so that missionmakers wouldnt get their mission screwed after next release. 2. It has been decided that all tanks will gain modern crew, and if missionmaker will want so, he may exchange them to soviet ones. It would be really a mess when we would try to decide which tank is soviet-crewed and which not. All of the tanks were really serving a lot of time, and each of them can be found with modern crews. Missionmakers have to decide in missions, which time they plan that mission for, and then to choose the crew. 3. That may be a good point to discuss before next release. But have one question to you  Shadow NX in those tanks commander don't have radar(don't now how to call it in this rectangle above the tank you see enemy as red square and after destroing it as white) only gunner am I right? Now is that going to be done that gunner and commander will have radare in finale release of T-64 pack and if all future released tanks??? Just like Sigmas T-72-90 tank pack had. You are right I do not intend to moan or nit-pick as I am accused to do. I wanted to propose soemthing to discuss about it if possible. If you don't want to discuss it because you already did I would prefer a friendly statement that it was already decided and will not be discussed further by the team. I'll accept that. @reador Ok thank you very much. I'm looking forward to it. @all I would also appreciate if some people would read my postings. I do not "force" anybody to use FDF values (how could I?) nor was it a complain. It was a proposal that came to my mind yesterday when I was using this superb tank pack with FDF mod. It doesn't change anything with the RHS addons nor do you have code any special values. It's just an entry more in the magazines[]= value in the config of the weapon(s). It makes it possible to add BIS magazines and make it compatible with FDF that way (since FDF obviously can't affect the RHS values). It's a suggestion. The correct solution has been by mistake not implemented in the release version. This mistake makes a very important issue to further mission compatibility with our further releases. we want to ask you to hold on all missionmaking procedures untill we will release and update which will fix that problem. We are terribly sorry for what happened. The update will be ready in 1-2 days, and will fix also some other bugs mentioned here and at other sources. Fix will be contained in a small file (~100KB), so you don't need to worry about downloading whole pack again. Correct readmes will be also posted on site. Shadow NX 1 Posted December 28, 2003 As commander just turn out and all other crew members will do the same...  @All Thanks for the massive bugreports, the cargo function is a nice thing but we had to script a lot so cargo can only ride tank in safe mode ( So turret cant turn ) fill cargo spaces with logics when not in safe mode so that cargo spaces are not availeable in combat mode and so on... Atm i think 90% of the bugs mentioned are caused of this tankrider function  P.S seems some like the wallpapers i think i include some hand drawn military chicks wallpaper now in every bigger release Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Shame, shame, shame... not a very experienced tank crew OPF commander aint we When you "turn out" from the option at the action menu the driver turn out has well . I just noticed in the editor under "empty", "RHS Export" and "RHS Export (Desert)" the units apear twice, like ex: Two T55 enigma, two T55A and two Type 69-2. Not a problem really has i cant have enough playing with these babys, just thought id let you know. And i enjoyed the T55 RHS Demo mission alot, great mission layout, objectives, cutscenes, etc. And to think i used to hate the BIS tank missions, please say there will be more . edit: i also noticed that the MG in the tanks dont hit where the dot is but a little to the right side, not sure if this was done to be like that , ill stop for now and will have some more fun with these super cool toys.
