Supah 0 Posted December 15, 2006 Hehee, nice pics all... ummm, Earl, around Florida, maybe? Yeah, I was planning the dSLR for RIAT (meet ya there, killagee ) too. Infact, if budget allows, I'll be spending the whole Flying Legends - RIAT week in UK. Now that I noticed that I actually have a mere 400€ to use, I've thought about going the "other way", which basically allows me enough money to buy a EOS 1DS Mk II if I'd like... but yeah. Maybe 400D is enough? Couple of 1GB memory cards, few extra batteries (maybe a "battery handle"?) and a 300mm (which, according to certain rather respected magazine is in effect about 450mm btw) or so lense. the_shadow 0 Posted December 22, 2006 ok, here we go again with cam questions.... today i was in the store and looked a bit closer on th Nikon D50... seams to be a pretty good camera, but then, im not very good at cameras so... whats the opinion on that camera? the price is fine with me... (about 660€ if i do the math right) it feels good, not as "plastic" as the Canon, better grip then Samsung and bigger then the Sony equivalent cameras. according to the info it has better battry then the others, it takes SD memory cards wich i have for my old camera and so on... i couldnt really find any big downsides, but as i said, i dont know much about DSLR´s..... oh, and finally.... maybe someone here has a used D50 and is upgrading? :P Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Original plan was to spend my 25th birthday and christmas, then head back north. However, I was forced to quit my job shortly before leaving (gave my two weeks notice the day before I left, so I still get paid for that time ) - and since I am in no hurry to come back to real winter, ive Extended my stay until the 5th of January - And new Year´s is a HUGE deal here. Bigger than Christmas. Anyways, some photos. I plan to have about 1.5 gigs of pictures and video when I come back, but doubt Ãll uplodad much more from here.
