Doc. Zaius 0 Posted January 26, 2004 Nice shots, Harnu. Wish it snowed here. My girlfriend took and edited this one of me. It was early and I was hungover at the time. I took this one. Both of them are vain attempts to be artistic solely for the sake of it. Â
GoOB 0 Posted January 26, 2004 The last one is really sharp! Looks just like a coke commercial, especially the one made here in Sweden for Coca-Cola Light  goob- "Mad fe'r it"
iNeo 0 Posted January 26, 2004 I'm thinking about buying a digital camera, a bit interested in HP Photosmart 320, which costs between 110 and 170 euros. Anyone tried this camera? The reviews make me think it's a pretty cheap digital camera for people that don't need expensive extra features.

GoOB 0 Posted January 26, 2004 It looks like icicles... I can't really tell for sure though. But it looks as if it is taken from an angle standing under a slanted roof.. But the green/yellow elements are confusing me, nonetheless very nice pictures everyone... Let's just hope I can take some tomorrow to catch up with you all  goob- "Mad fe'r it"

A good optical zoom is one of those "must have" features if you want to take good photos whenever you want (forget digital zoom). Ever tried to take a photo of some animal (no, not in zoo), quite impossible without good zoom. [b said: Quote[/b] ]It's a campfire--we are looking at the burned-down logs and hot coals, right? crashdome 3 Posted January 27, 2004 This was usual summer activity at my mother's old place. They were taken out her back porch. Don't know why, but because I am a city person I find this very surreal.

Reminds me when we were once in a lake cabin and the neighbors suggested that we don't take the trash out at night. No lack of paw prints near the bins. iNeo 0 Posted January 27, 2004 Nice bear I just changed my mind, I'm gonna go with the HP Photosmart 635 instead of 320. It costs less than 170 euros, has got 3x optical zoom, etc.
SKULLS_Viper 0 Posted January 27, 2004 [b said: Quote[/b] ]If you're just breaking into digital photography, or have only dabbled in it somewhat, than you may not know that many digital cameras come with two zooms - an optical zoom and a digital zoom. The optical zoom functions just like the zoom on a 35mm film camera and allows you to move (zoom) in closer to your subject. Since it uses conventional lenses it provides the best resolution. The digital zoom merely "blows up" the image and crops in on the part you see on the LCD, reducing the resolution. So if you're looking to capture high-resolution images from a distance, make sure you pay closer attention to the size of the optical zoom rather than the digital or total digital + optical zoom. From Olympus.
KJAM 0 Posted January 27, 2004 its really depends on the camera, i got a Canon A-80 with 3x optixcal and 11x digital zoom, pretty damn good quality too though i qouldnt use the DZ for any real professional work unless i wanted a sorta grainy affect (canon A-80 = Å275 work it out yourself lol)
turms 0 Posted January 27, 2004 I have the a80 also, and im very satisfied. This camera has options for begginner to professional, and thats why i like it, you have to learn how it works. As for the HP series, ive heard that it eats up battery pretty fast...
Dauragon 0 Posted January 27, 2004 anyone know which camera can make really fast photos, like a normal camera or like the cameras the news reporter have but a digital version ?
