yes, that´s the gun commander biggrin_o.gif he gets the orders from the battery emplacement vehicle (where i´m sitting) and gives order to load and fire the gun smile_o.gif

to the right of him is the aimer sitting (he is the on that fires the gun)

and on the other side (right of the aimer) is the 1st loader sitting, he crank down the grenades into the casing wich the 2nd loader lifts up into the "cradle"

then we have a ammunition controller (checks the charges) that can be one of the loaders (preferably 2nd loader)

and some other soldiers to make the charges ready.

note that the gun commander are a 19 or 20 year old corporals class and the rest of the crew are 19-20 year old privates, the aimer with 10 month service time (same as the commander) and the others with 7,5 months.

in the battery emplacement there is 2 seargents (15 months service), and 3-4 10 month privates (like me)

all between 19-21 year of age

the platoon NCO are also a 15 month seargent

although the platoon leader are a 2nd liutenant (not conscript soldier)

as i have understood this is not normal procedure outside sweden.

EDIT

MORE PICS!

there´s also the film, and it should work if you follow this link

Nice pics skulls viper! Especially the waterwheel. I would recommend just putting lo-res pic on these forums however incase people use them without your permission...

I went to the Auckland Zoo the other day.

Here is my favourite pic from there. Lion washing its face...

And now, just to lower the tone a bit... It must be boring for the animals... They gotta entertain themselves somehow...

You know what Killagee? I woke up this morning and said to myself "Myself, some crazy stuff might happen to you today. You have no idea what the future has in store. The sights, the sounds, the feelings, it's all an expanse of the purest possibility. However, I feel absolutely certain that you won't see a picture of a chimpanzee fellating another chimpanzee- there's just no way."

Hey SKULLS, did you try kimchee? That stuff is GOOD!  biggrin_o.gif

Oh yea baby! And hot to! biggrin_o.gif

Oh, and you don't wana know what else I ate in Korea. If your having dinner, you might not want to read this.

Well, I had the strangest meal in my whole life.Raw fish. ghostface.gif

The fish is so fresh on the plater, that the fish heads are still gulping for air. wow_o.gif

And the squid legs were still slithering on the tray.I still ate the raw fish though.I really didn't want to try and taste it though, so I just swallowed the pieces whole. wow_o.gif

In the end the price came to about 210,000 won.Or some where about $200.(1,200 Won = to $1 approx)

Also drank Soju to.(Korean whiskey.)And OB beer. smile_o.gif

View of Mount Hermon, Golan Heights, Israel, yesterday.

Picture was taken from a small 1973 Yom Kippur War memorial monument to the south of Mt. Hermon.

Picture size and quality drastically reduced to meet forum rules.

If you look carefully, you'll see in the distance 3 mountain peaks with military positions (towers/antennas) on them. Two of these are Israeli controlled. One is Syrian. I'm not sure if the Syrian's peak is the right or the more distant to the north center peak.

There was a tremendous snowfall this past Saturday/Sunday on Mt. Hermon. My husband easily plunged into fresh snow up to his hips. We had a one day family outing, with the kids sledding and building snowmen (PC=snowpersons tounge_o.gif) and igloos.

We didn't think of bring sun screen. Now we all look like a bunch of strawberries. crazy_o.gif
