which winter island did you use btw?

The textures are Ebud and Tigersharks handywork, and just goes to show you CAN get photorealistic textures WITHOUT using jpeg textures

The island is FDF's "East Border" Island, such a sweet island, expect a whole lot more pics from there over the coming weeks

I already thought it was east border. It's a really nice island for a campaign that lasts an entire year (since it comes in winter and normal version). Looking forward to those pics!

I might add that Euro I paint scheme you see there was made by Ebud from actual Pavie flight engineer painting guidelines I provided him.

It is a sterling piece of work...and each side of the aircraft has its own texture so the camouflage is not uniform on each side.

Pay close attention to the ESSS stubs and under the crew chief window...

This is also the other side of the helo not shown in DMs pics...note the armament plaque on the cargo door as well...only appears on this side.

but say,

isnt this fueltank in the back of the cargo space a bit risky?

if a bullet would penetrate it, the fuel would spray or leak all over the cargo or the bullets ricochet could cause some serious trouble inside the cargo area.

But you're right. Just because something looks finished, doens't mean it is. You can't really expect from deadmeat that he posts a screenshot of an untextured LOD to show you how good the addon is, right? They'll just try to show to best parts of the bird.
